sub continent cricketers become like street vendors .playing round the years and trying to push the game though many does not want to watch .all they want to generate money for their respective boards and them self, knowing the ill effect like in the road side stuffs . a pity sense
The Indian public may not realize this BUT there is a ticking time bomb within Indian cricket. From what I have seen so far in this series, this Indian team DOES NOT have what it takes to be WORLD NUMBER ONE.
Let us begin with the bowling. Historically India has always struggled in the bowling department; more so in the fast bowling ranks. Even with all the fitness equipment and money around the BCCI has to be ASHAMED with itself in terms of player development.
I think it's a curse for India when it comes to losing interesting young prospects. Ishant Sharma is a shadow of his former self. Irfan Pathan has been buried and Sreeshanth is a walking patient. Munaf Patel has a lazy attitude. Mmm, who else is left ?
Now the batting: soon Tendulkar, Dravid and Laxman will retire leaving a HUGE BLACK HOLE in the Indian middle order. Now the next part is scary if you are an Indian supporter. This Indian batting will become a SORRY SIGHT and an absolute disaster. I am sure many Indian fans already share this verdict along with me.
Last but not least the fielding. India WILL ALWAYS be a poor fielding unit. They simply don't have the guts to throw their bodies around. In addition, they don't have the physique Australians, South Africans, English, and New Zealanders boast.
To sum up Team India will drop way down in rankings and will wipe the floor with West Indies and Bangladesh in test cricket. They will lose the Sri Lanka series 2-0.
It is shameful that Sehwag openly says the team wants it to rain. I am sure every team in this position will want rain but at least on paper they would have the courage to go and fight it out. Shame shame

Batting too...! Some batsmen played well in the 1st innings and some in the 2nd. If all the batsmen had done well in the same innings, India would have been in a better position.
