we need a tearaway fast bowler who bowls 12-15 overs a day at a speed of 140-145 not bothering of swing etc. for atleast 5 years. after thet can go for artistic fast bowling. faster in air slow pitches wil not trouble.

good thought. 138-145 is great speed and min 36-42 balls in one spell. 145-150 is showmanship does not work for long run. Srinath bowled at 150 then broke down and then after that he was 140 on a consistent basis for a long time.

though i am from karnataka.. i tell you the reason.. he should have given enough chance in IPL before selecting for international team.
another things. IPL owners should select fast bowlers from other countries and give out batsmen to play against them and at the same time we should rest our first class fast bowler and give chance to bowler like mithum for few IPL

IPL you still get chance to bowl against few best batsman at high pressure matches. there is no harm testing few matches in IPL before choosing for international test match
Congrats Mithun, bring good name to India and Karnataka as other Karnataka Players did previously and who are now doing their services in the Indian Team. Have a good match.
