He has to think twice before he speaks. The same bangladesh team humiliated you guys out of the disastrous world cup. You were chucked out and now some initial success makes you to speak like that. Thrown words are not taken back.
Sehwag should not have used such strong words. He should have been mild. He could have said that India is a stronger team and Bangladesh has very little chance of winning or that they have long way to go. But to say what he said to the host team can be called as bad manners. How would you like if somebody toured India and used such words? After all Bangladesh has twice came very close to winning a test, once against Pakistan and once against Australia.

Zimbabwe has lost its Test status partly because of their lack of quality in the longer format of the game. Bangladesh is only marginally better than Zimbabwe and equal to Ireland in the longest format of the game. Bangladesh is still in the list of Test playing nations only because of the clout of BCCI. Otherwise they don't deserve to be playing at the highest level.

It is not overconfidence but Bangladesh cannot take 20 Indian wickets, even Sri Lanka [ Images ] could not do it.. then why you guys last your 10 wkts in 48 overs..
What are you guys scared about? May be to become a champion we need to start thinking like one. Confident of beating his opponents. This is the usual mental battle that always happens before a match. Aussies regularly do this. Not a big deal at all

But India considers itself as a champion already even though it has never won consistently.

AJ;
India is at number one ranking in tests. so, they do hav the right to think that they r the champs whether they think or not is a diffeent story. Second, as per u Indian cannot come up with this comment against the lowly Bangladeshis, that says it all that u having problems withagainst India being number one:)

Exactly my point. Trying to be humble and scared of the repercusssions of losing doesn't help. If you firmly believe you can't lose and that you have the horsepower to win, you will never lose belief at any point of the game. The moment you believe you can lose, the moment that thought creeps in, you know where you will end up
Naked truth is not acceptable in India.After all,India has nothing but cricket while aussies and SA's are leaders in many other sports.So India with its 1 billion has to have something to be proud about.Hence the Indian cricket team is overhyped.Beggars cannot be choosers.
