Dhoni himself has openly acknowledged the fact that the bowlers (and fielders) are the ones that let the team down more often than the batsmen. Not very long ago during the one day series , during the post match presentation he openly stated that "Yuvraj was our best bowler today", which in itself indicates how satisfied he is with the current bunch of regular bowlers. the problem with you is that you hate australians and hence cannot tolerate any comments from them, especially about the indian cricket team cuz u are blinded by patriotism.

Ian Chappell will do all to undermine India's ascendency both as a playing nationa as well as a cricket's fiancial powerhouse. I don't understand why Harsha Bhogle was sucking upto Ian Chappell so much while he was trashing India all along in that radio program.

CUZ BHOGLE DDINT HAVE GAVASKAR WITH HIM to defend what chappell was saying. moreover he was the host, so his stupid smart ass suggestions weren't welcome.
I an chappell cannot still stomach the fact that his brother was uncermonioulsy kicked out of the coaches position. It is only jealousy which is p rompting to say that.fuckaussiesandaustralians. we have to throw allchristianmissionariesout of India.

Risky Proposition:
When you learn enough about Cricket, and its present and past personalities, I am sure you will make necessary corrections to your "fantastic" statement. :)
By now we have know that Australians are racists and so even Ian is letting his abhorrence fall on us. It is accepted that we don't have champion bowlers, though we are number 1 at the moment. If we have the champion bowlers then we are unstoppable. Australian team is better than us- all-round. Then why there are not at the top. No point in bringing old fellas into consideration now. Then we can say, we will also bring Kapil Dev and etc. Better to think about present. I think Ian is still in the past and forgot this is 2010.
inspite of being a bad bowling lineup v r no.1. if v find a couple of youngsters in pace n spin deptt, then v vl rule for many years. n ausis had to win with the help of umpires inspite of having 'good' bowling line up.
ultimately chappal admits that even ausis is not a gr8 side now as it has fallen back.

even the aussies admit.ponting had openly stated that his team isnt as good as before. they are patriotic and know to accept REALITY unlike jokers like u, who let patriotism rule your emotions
Ian Chappell seems to have forgotten the 2001 series that India won. The Aussies were on a 15 match winning streak and all their superstars were present in the series. He is right about the bowling , but there are no champion bowlers in any team at the moment!!! South Africa have one potentially in Dayle Steyn. Australia have none. England have none. Pakistan have none. Srilanka have none. New Zealand have none. So what is the big deal if India have none. He needs to remember that we have Ajit Agarkar to fall back on.
Ian Chappell! You are a la Greg Chappell! No doubt about that. India won 3 tests against Australia, but you have forgotten that they simply lacked the technique that Australia possessed to win the Sydney Test. Had India won it, they would even won the Test series against Australia. Your Australian team's inability is that they could not repeat the feat against South Africa and hence, they won against Australia on Aussie soil. True, you are right in a way. If India does not possess 'certain' of the qualities that Australia had all through its playing days, how can it remain at top for long? I concur with your view. You are no doubt a 'genius' that Australian cricket had produced.
I dont understand why Mr.Chappell wants to bring in Gilchrist, Mc Grath. Ok in that every team in the world will be good at particular give time with great players, so when all the team brings in those players everyone will be champions. So Mr. Chappell agrees that Oz is not doing good, instead of giving advice to home county on how to develop he is trying to comment on India. Please make the corrections my own's side before we comment on others. Are you unable to accept India being at first are you lacking that much sportsmenship?

Rajesh Kumar:
Great comments. I like your attitude of helping the Aussie side. :)
We are used to be #1 for short periods of time anyway, so lets go on pretending all is well, and we will continue to be #1 in all forms of the game as we have already done since 1932. :)
