this stand of modi should be hailed by every indian,"plainspeaking" no half measures,do u get all loseres round the world,u will play for urselves otherwise we ain't bothered we gonna enjoy even if its only our cricketers playing ipl3
One of our members here quoted bangles in his/her post. I liked that comment. Simply put, the message to girlies of Australia, England, New Zealand, and South Africa is simple: "India is not forcing you to play in the IPL. SHOULD you choose to NOT show up for the tournament then your respective contract shall be torn apart and trashed".
Mr. Modi I like your guts even though I am not your big supporter. You gotta let these bangle danglers know that they AIN'T gonna get EASY money just by having their butts over at London, Melbourne, Cape Town and Wellington. They gotta have them over here in India. If they feel our country is not safe FINE ! let them have fun dangling their bangles !!!!! gora cowards !
Special message to Paki terrorists: We Indians are not afraid of you green winches. We know your double standards of begging and playing brave heart. So shut the f**k up and bomb your own a$$es if you wanna do anything about the pathetic situation of cricket in your country. The IPL will go as planned. The common wealth games will go as planned and so will the ICC world cup. Get it ?!

Brother, I am not like Bal Thackeray. He's a regionalist and a nation divider. I am a federalist. My priorities are to put India at the top as a whole. I never supported Modi's decision to move the tournament to SA if that's what you meant. I didn't even watch the tournament to be honest. I caught up with highlights on youtube whenever I could. IPL is Indian. There is nothing wrong to be proud of your own country first. It's become like a virus for Indians to look up to the 'white' pests. Centuries of oppression should have taught us something. I know that has nothing to do with cricket but unfortunately cricket in our country is mixed with politics. If these countries tell us their politicians don't indulge in sport then they are lieing cause they do. Hint: Aussie PM's involvement with banning Aussie team from visiting Zimbabwe in 2005/06.

Jay:
I am not against YOU. All I am highlighting is your stress on the word "bangles"... If that be the case, even Modi and Indian players wore "bangles" last year coz they didn't get the security they wanted in India... isn't it? This year others are taking that stance. That's all.
IPL s all about money..!! so, if players will not come, its only loss to themselves.. not us. Most of the players will come, to earn big bucks..!!! if it will be regular international match/series, they would not come as they are not getting that much money to play..!! so, IPL is a money game & lalit modi knew that well..!!
I wish this tournament gets cancelled. Fed up of this long boaring 20-20 cricket. Instead schedule a international fixture during this period of 45 days. or give some rest to the players who are playing cricket like a workhorse.

Does Rediff know that Winter olympics is on... such patetic news channel
The western media hypes the security concerns and the ICC plays upon the players fears. No one in the sub continent have such fears. If these fears exist in others let them not play and lets replace them with players from the sub continent. But let such players who do not play also forfeit the money that they would have earned out of it.
whatever it might be IPL should not be moved, all the cricket associations want to host IPL in their country as it will be deffnietely benifit them. Thats why ECB is giving some reasons. I will be deffinietely happy to see whatever will happen but IPL should not move out from India. Deffinietly I will go and watch my fav Royal Challengers play in Chinnaswami..I don' know whether this guy(Modi) is right or wrong but I don want to see IPL move out of India

IPL shud not be moved instead it should be cancelled altogether. fd up of watchinf this boaring 20-20 cricket. Dosnt have to same taste as international fixture. Someone shud put a HOT RED BURNING ROD in M_OD_I's A_S_$
Why is IPL not being staged in Hyd, giving Telengana as an excuse is silly, there is a greater threat to Aussies in Mumbai but still its being played there...why this double standards....Hyderabad can host IPL3 inspite of Telengana issue...even after the CM assuring Mr. Modi and his band are not consenting....this is purely double standards...I would suggest the Deccan Charges to back off from IPL3 and make sure IPL 3 comes back to Hyd...
Re: Then why not Hyd Mr. Modi, why the double standards

Dear Babu, if you dont want to watch then just switch of your TV. Why are you saying only one thing that IPL will be cancelled. The people who are interested in wtaching IPL let them watch.

Vijay, In other cases the threat is from militant groups. That can be handled by tight security. But in hyd, the threat is from public. Hard to control
This is a fitting response to the International players assoc and other countries who think IPL is "Iternational" Premier League. :) I am happy to see that the same countries have thier hockey teams in India for the world cup.
