IPL is good for India economically. I would strongly lobby my friends here(USA) NOT to subscribe. If we cannot have one sporting event then we are nowhere close to being a superpower.
We are left to the mercy of islamic terrorists to even host sporting events. Way to go Congress!!! when will you stop playing divide and rule and act on terrorism with iron hand.

No! If IPL moves to SA it says to the despicable Islamo-fascist jihadi terrorists that they can influence decisions through raw terror. The message must be sent loud and clear to these murdering criminals that IPL will not be cowed by their terror tactics.
I admire your bowling prowess Mr. Warne BUT I reject your offer to move the IPL to SA. The IPL is an Indian baby and it should be raised in India. We don't need your suggestions on the matter. As far as safety goes, no where on earth is safe. Terrorists can play spoilsport pretty much anywhere they like. We saw that in the past 20 years: Yemen, New York City, Washington D.C., Cairo, Jakarta, Barcelona, London, Oklahoma City, Mumbai, Colombo, Rio De Jeneiro etc.
What we can do to counter terrorism is NOT to give in to the demands of the terrorists. If we move the IPL to SA or any other country as per Warne's suggestion then we play right into the demands of the terrorists. India will then lose her credibility as a nation. I don't know what Indians think BUT the real LOSERS will be us - the Indian people. Warne and his fellow foreign players won't lose ANYTHING. If it's not the IPL then perhaps it will be something else; a poker tournament in Las Vegas OR a bridge tournament in Singapore !! Warne is gonna make money either way.
Enough is enough. Lalit Modi has to be precise on his stance about the IPL. He shouldn't allow pawns like Shane Warne to dictate terms. At the same time, Modi has to be transparent with the security information handed out to the overseas players. Nobody should be forced to come to India this time. The choice has to be given to the players. Remember the IPL is an Indian tournament. We can do without the foreign nonsense that Warne and his type are.
