This kid will perform .. About srikkanth .. Eventhough he talks too much... He is the one who groomed yuvi kaif into the world scene when they were in the under 19 world cup...(teens here in the board wouldnt know)
Similarly he pushed in Kohli now in the team ..
For all the Indian Tamil haters ....Its pretty new for all u guys that suddenly tamilnadu players are in the team. Because for the last 2 decades there are only single digit number of TN players in the Indian team ...
There were many terrific performers like sarath etc who never gone into Indian team. Eventhough u haters hate, but I know u all clap and encourage when this kid gets a wicket or perform. Thats why we are indians .. unity in diversity.
U have to look into the team composition to understand the selection.
Indian batting order for the next couple of years is Sachin,Sehwag,Gambhir,____,Yuvraj,Dhoni,Raina.
So u have two blanks to be filled. For No.4, contenders Kohli,Rohit,Pandey and less likely Pujara for ODI's. So basically if Pandey or Pujara to play, they have to replace Kohli.( tough on selectors as kohli did resonably well).
For No.7 ,if someone is absent contenders are : Pathan,Jadeja,Nayar( I would like to add Uthappa)
They are stuck with Jadeja coz when yuvi and sewhag were absent India seriuosly missed a 5th bowler and Jadeja is been very economic since then. Once full strength is present, we dont have place for any of these players. Injuries are good because we could look into all these players, but in fact theres no place for anyone.

Rubbish. In that case I would argue that the bowling lineup for the next 3 years is Zaheer,Ishant Bhaji,Sreesanth
and the choices are between Praveen Kumar, Nehra,Tyagi,Mishra, Ashwin

Enlighten us. Also I enjoy cricket and am happy abt everything thats going with Indian cricket team. PPl like u have psychological problems and vent ur anger on cricket.I feel sorry for u coz..u have to crib abt cricket and selections all the while but stil have to follow it unhappily..who shld have a life here?

pujara ll be a big flop as he plays 4 saurashtra & home grnd is Rajkot...wr a no 11 batsman can score 100 :-) ...coz of small boundaries, current like outfield & a dead pitch 4 bowlers....remember the last matc @ rajkot, india vs SL, more than 800 was scored..
I totally lost faith in selection comittie. Pushing ur state players is called as a selection???totally disgusting.Now i know why some players called selection comittie members as jokers.I had little respect on chika but now its zero.After he is at helm he has cleverly selected players either from Tamil nadu team or the players from Chennai super kings.
Sudeep Tyagi(chennai super kings) given the chance in test and ODI team.Dinesh Karthick (TN) was given plenty of chances despite his consistent failures but this selction has some merit.Muruli Vijay and Badrinath (both from TN)were given test berth, considering this season domestic performance this selection is not on merit.Raina (plays for Chennai super kings) was given chance for the 2nd test vs SA though he was not in the board president Xi or India A team ,what about the domestic performers who played thier best and are in good form?this is completly demotivating factor. Now R.Ashwin (TN) and this selection is totaly misplaced even if Bahjji is not playing Yousuf Pathan will fit in his place.why do u need an extra spinner when Mishra is available?What happened to Ojha?.
I am sorry ,this is total mess.Now i can easily except the fact that selection comittie are bunch of jokers.I dont know whether Chika wants to prove that he is loyal to his state or he thinks its his duty to do this or some pressure from administrators and polititions with in his state.

out of 15, 7 players are from north. If gambhir/yuvi/bhaji fit, it could be 10. except sehwag/yuvi all are useless & continuing in team due to regional politics of dhobi. India is paying price by loosing all imp tournaments in ODI/T20 in last 2 yrs courtsey dirty politics of dhobi.

it is not about north or south. but talent player should get chance. this srikianth ruining reputation and setting bad trend. which is utter shame

our captain dhobi is much more regional than selection panel. Final eleven picked by dhobi. He ensures only useless northy play. Result in T20/ODI is pathetic in last 2 yrs courtsey- regional politics of dhobi

Not to forget the 7 Karnataka players at one point in the Indian cricket team....Agreed they played well....but 7 is too much!! There were better players than Sunil Joshi from other states....Courtesy: Gundappa
