Good question. But since all of us regard sachin as god, it is only natural for others to expect god to pull india out of the mess!

You say you regard Sachin as god! Now tell me, is it not rather arrogant on one's part to ask 'god' to demonstrate his character? Will you go to the temple and ask Ram or Krishna to demonstrate his character?

So when you get into trouble, you think it is only 'god' who has the responsibility of getting us out of it, while 'human beings' can continue to freak out!

True. We are not champion stuff. Neither batting, now bowling. Ofcourse, our fielding is not good enough to get even passing grades!

yes we dont deserve to be no.1 we cud take only 6 SA wickets in 2 days while they managed to get 12 of our wickets.
This is what happens when you go for exams without preparation. The Indian team is facing a quality pace attack after a long time and the Indian batsmen's age old weakness against genuine pace has been exposed yet again, for the umpteenth time. In fact, the BD tour gave a good indication of the things to come when even when the otherwise ordinary Bangladesh bowlers bowled with a bit of fire, Indian batsmen were in trouble.
It should be eyeopener to those people who feel that older players get their place in the team because of their previous records.Absence of Rahul Dravid, Laxman is clearly showing that Indian batting is very vulnerable. One should not simply be against the experienced players . There should always be a blend of EXPERIENCED PLAYERS and YOUNG BLOOD in the INDIAN TEAM. These youngsters should be groomed slowly as test cricket is a different format which requires lot of technique, skill, judgement and patience.

I feel the standard of play in the domestic circuit is pathetic where there are hardly any bowlers who r good. Again, when domestic batsmen face such ordinary bowlers day in and day out, they fail miserably against international attacks. We need to improve our domestic structure considerably if we wish to do well in the internatioal circuit!

Faith and Only Faith my Son! Have Faith in the Team.....
Faith can move mountains....!! India will WIN!!
It is no sin to doubt some things... it may be fatal to believe everything. Faith never means gullibility. Credulity never honors God. The healthy soul, like the healthy blood system, has it's proper proportion of white and red blood cells...

Dudeman:
Thanks mainly (in order of appearance):
- To our "fabulous" bowlers - for giving away half a thousand runs on a pitch suited to bowlers - To our fielders including the magical wicket keeper for missing those chances which were so hard to come by in the first place - To our batsmen except Sehwag and Badri in the first innings - To our batsmen Sehwag and Gambhir in the second innings (till now)...
Now THAT my dear friend, is a complete Thanksgiving speech you should be making on this forum.... :) - To
And whenever India play bad then by default it seems to grow larger in my mouth and pains like hell....since the Test match started I get more pain due to my emotional framework attached to our desi team....at nights I have to have few vodkas and gin to get some rest but in the Morning again it pains like hell when i see the rediff scoreboards...from my office table.
Today my boss personally cut one lemon and made a juice for me mixed with paprika and vinegar
I need to know if India will play well and have the will to turn the table upside down and win this test???
If yes then i hope atleast my Ulcer will stay little better or else there are chances of it exploding one of these days
