ag psu, u know i never hasitate to accept reality. i know our zahir and ishant nowhere near to kalis who is 35 yrs of age in terms of pace and accuracy. styne and morkel are mount everest for me to compare with our indian pacer who struggle to bowl even at 130kmph speed i feel ashemed to watch them in action.

Even I always accept logical and cricketing statements on what they are, rather than who said it... :) But most of our Rediff members were overwhelmingly convinced that Ian Chappell doesn't know any cricket at all.... as compared to our Rediff "experts" who proved that our bowling attack is the best in the world, coz we just won against Bangladesh and before that, Sri Lanka... :)

ag psu, u know i told u earlier my favorite bowler is johnson simply because he put his 100% effort in his bowling and never compromise in pace. this is what we miss in indian bowler, started their career as and fast bowler and within one year they become gentle midium pace bowler i hate to watch this.
Can Sehwag and Gambir bat instead of Mishra and Ishanth? We have these rules in our gully. Sometimes, some of our gully players need to go home early. Can SA accept this rule?

I thought Viru and GG wanted to go home early, the way they batted in the second innings :-)

I think SA will not mind having Gambhir again.... :)
Maybe Sehwag too.... coz by law of averages his style of batting produces good knocks once a while, and that while has already been achieved yesterday... . :)

He did that in 2004 series in Aus & scored double in last test in Melbourne. He learned after failing in previous three test... Today he should do same after first inning cought behind.
This kind of stuff from Styne can only be countered , if you stop taking risk... Score is important , but how long he will be able to dishout those accurate stuff.

Anyway, this is not his second innings. This is his third innings. He was saved by umpire when he was plumb LBW on the second ball he faced. Hope umpires will give him more lives to completed another century.
This is what u happen when u have 'family loyalists' as ministers
1) pawar cant control price raise 2) krishna worst external min we have. 3) tharoor tweets a lot... and does less 4) Jairam Ramesh facing the chin music... 5) chidambaram screwed up the telengana

You just touched the tip of the iceberg.
Selectors failed miserably to perform a proper selection job.
On any day, Suresh Raina or for that matter Virat Kohli is a better choice ahead of Badrinath, not just for their batting and fielding talents, but for their attitude of wriggling out of tough situations.
Dinesh Karthik should have been the undisputed choice if the selectors wanted a reserve keeper.
If Suresh Raina is in the team, he and Sehwag can bowl off spin overs between them in a much better way than the much hyped Bhajji. That leaves the team with the option of dropping Bhajji and selecting an allrounder like Abishek Nayar or Ravindra Jadeja (both of whom are far superior in fielding compared to Bhajji) or a specialist bowler like Pragyan Ohja, who has proved to be much more effective than Bhajji in the few chances given to him.

just look at 3 catches we dropped AMLA DROPPED BY vijay twice once of Bhajji once of Zaheer. Only bcoz of poor fielding bowiling looks weak
