Dravid is out of form much like Ponting! Ponting is going to come at #4 soon (ok he is out of the last Ashes Test now) but in his next test he is going to move down the order! I think Dravid should do the same!!

He just got the MOM for his 191 against NZ. He is getting the starts and he needs to convert it into big ones....Pujara can't replace Dravid.. Badrinath would be right option to replace Dravid...Its just early days my Dear

please note that first test was played on one of the vicious pitches.Indian Team is not used to such pace and bounce.It takes time to adjust especially with likes of Steyn and Morkel firing on all cylinders

when india got mini world cup under his captaincy without sachin , saurav, dravid, laxman etc.. it was called pure luck, now it is called due to all above player.He is now 2nd best captain india ever have after saurav, he has a best record as wicket keeper batsman, he is performing as good wicket keeper also. Why anybody is feeling problem in giving credit to him what he desrves
Its hypothatical, but if Indian wins the WC 2011, and Sachin scores a winning knowck of 100 while chasing... and Dhoni scores only ZERO... will u give some credit to Dhoni or not?

A lot is being said about dhoni constantly losing tosses. Maybe the captains before him got a little worried in that situation. not dhoni. even if toss is lost he has a positive attitude and tries to win.
Out of the 23 tests he has played as a captain he has lost 16 tosses and the result of these matches? India won 10 lost 3 and drawn 3!
dhoni has lost tosses against teams like australia, SA eng but still has won the matches.
If we get this result after losing a toss, it should not really matter much even if we lose the toss. dhoni's attitude seems that it doesn't matter if i lose the toss as long as i win the match. that is praiseworthy.
What is great is that he has achieved and maintained india's no. 1 ranking in tests with his bowling attack which consists of newcomers like mishra, ojha, sreesanth ishant.
mishra has so far played 10 test matches out of which india has won in 6 matches in which mishra took 31 wickets.
similarly ozha has played 11 tests so far out of which india has won 7 and in those test matches ozha has taken 34 matches.
in other words they have taken 5 wickets per test that india has won and this performance can be compared to the best of bowlers like steyn, hadlee, mcgrath etc.
Ishant Sharma has played 30 tests matches out of which india has won in 15 tests and ishant has taken 55 wickets in these matches.

Dhoni has 9 victories either on overseas pitches OR against best teams like Aus and SA at home. So, thats a great record. Also having fantastic players like Tendulkar, Laxman, Sehwag and Zaheer is always a PLUS.
Well done, Team India. You deserve the No.1 ranking. After the horrible show in the 1st Test, I had doubts, but now I am sure !!
