If it belongs to all time fev than Imraan khan and kapil have no place here as they can not replace kallis this is what i believe.

I never said you to get agreed with my belief, I said this is what i think , second he putted his assumption where i am commenting on this as per my assumption, now from where ICC came here in this discussion.
Top of it your attitude is giving shitt picture of your character. Grow up.

Naresh
about my character
I admire winners and achievers because I am one of them though not as good as them. They give me a sense of purpose to push myself to achieve greater things
You on the other hand, are not a winner in any form. Hence you find the hero worship bit too much, because no one ever worshipped you as a hero. you were never looked up to , and now you feel left out when millions look up to someone. Hence you go about finding faults in that someone ( because no ones perfect right) and try to get a feel good for self factor going.
I actually attended a human psychology class , not because I was a psychology major, but because I was a TA for that professor.
your attitude and some of the ones on the forum fit the bill to perfection.
hey what can i say , Am a born winner - so sue me ?

Sameer:
Sure, Warne has the cleanest Action but ICC allowed Murali to bowl and He bowled like a champion and Done excellently well. If you know why Murali is allowed he has 14 or 15 Deg Bend Elbow but Even Bowlers like McGrath had 13 so ICC Tweaked 12 to 15 Deg and termed all as Legal, So I take the Better bowler.
As I said, with out Bevan, this World XI is incomplete and Ponting is like a Player, No Hyden and no Ponting Show. Stats proved it and Lara and Ponting had very similar Stats but Lara faced the better attack then Ponting Faced so Lara out scored Ponting in those 2 Things

Senthil
there might be a small flaw in your selection criteria. While you analysis is accurate
For All rounder - you need an attacking all rounder. Someone who picks wickets and scores quik runs. I don't think Kallis is there.
Bevan -- again is more of a guy that nudges the ball around and rotates the strike. While that is excellent in a team, when you are selecting the top ODI team ever, you shouldn't have to select someone who can nudge things around. Since batsmen before him are the best in the world.

Sameer,
I looked at every angle before Selection. Do you think Kallis Batting is not attacking or his Bowling? He do when reqd. He has 11,000 runs and 259 wickets and I believe He had scored and taken those at a better rate then other competitors.
Bevan is the Finest Finisher ever seen in the ODI History, He is a Man for crises as well. Bevan scored runs faster when Needed. I m damn sure Bevan will get as much as Vote Sachin get. He has such a reputation.
We will see whom Majority of people going to pick for All Rounder slot
There is lot of clamour for giving Bharat Ratna to Ten. I checked up Kallis record.
Kallis in Tests: 143 Tests (32 less than Ten), 242 innings (44 less than Ten) - He has scored 11650 runs at an average of 56.82 (Ten average in Tests is 56.91) and has scored 38 centuries. He has also taken 269 wickets in Tests.
Kallis in one dayers: 307 Matches (135 less than Ten); 293 innings - Scored 11002 runs at an average of 45.84 (Ten average is 45.12). Besides the runs, he has taken 259 wickets in one dayers.
Seeing his records, I have written to the South African Government to give the `Diamond of South Africa' award to Kallis (South Africa is famous for its diamonds - but I do not knwo whether such an award is given by them). I am yet to hear from them. I believe he deserves it, given his track record as the best all rounder the game of cricket has seen! He should certainly be the best cricketer of the decade 2001-10!

i totally agree with this.. KALLIS is the "SOUTHAFRICA RATNA" awarded man.. as with that 11650 runs he took 269 wickets.. every 100 wickets in tests is considered as 2000 runs as murali got 800 wickets is termed as 16000 test runs!!so in that regards kallis already got over 17000 test runs (11650 runs 5400 runs in terms of 270 wickets almost) & he got good 2 to 3 years left in him!! don't know where will he finish, may be with over 14000 test runs with around 325 wickets!!(14000 runs & 6500 runs, converting 325 wickets =over 20000)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! staggering astonishing, better than sobbers & is the best all rounder ever in tests as well as ODIs (with over 10000 ODI runs already with around or over 250 wickets as well there, no one can even imagine or believe that all round performance)
Re: Re: `Diamond of South Africa' award for Kallis

actually 11000 ODI runs already as well so might finish with around 12000-12500 ODI runs!! astonishing

Is this debate is about greatest batsman or greatest all rounder??
lets test your logic, math @ cric knowledge a man playing away from home has hit 28 centuries out of 50....out of which 9 for winning cause...11 to draw..and 8 for a defeat when india has won away form home man avgs 87 when lost avg is 38 and when we pull to draw avg is 56....everything else is for you to understand
Re: attention non-techie
by Sameer on Dec 24, 2010 06:01 PM
Guardian
WHY is everyone obsessed with match winning centuries ? Would you rather have the batsmen not try say when they get to 30/3 or 50/4 since from there on winning becomes too tough and they might lose even if they score centuries ?
Seriously
If a player is scoring century and still ending up on losing side, that BASICALLY MEANS HIS TEAM S.U.C.K.S !!!
wow you guys are complete village idiots ( guardian i am not calling you one)
