thats a good suggestion. But then people will say , Sachin doesn't score at all !!!

People have problems when sachin plays and when sachin doesn't play
they have a problem when sachin scores and when sachin doesn't score as well.

Murali Vijay certainly can break Sachin's record:
1> He can marry two girls name Anjali
2> He can have four children
But for cricketing things who is M. Vijay by the way?

I'm saying that we shouldn't be going gaga over someone that rarely saves matches or wins games for Ind.

celebrations ?

Raising the bat and looking up to the heavens is celebration ?

People are grabbing the only positive in a losing match and thats sachins 100. Had a bowler taken 10 wickets in an inning and we lost that match, we would be celebrating the 10 wickets.

GET IT ? I don't think you do.

Besides, instead of blaming the reason for losing the match, ediots like you are criticizing the only positive in a losing cause.

Why don't ediots like you crucify the stupid bowlers ? Crucify the captain for allowing soo many runs to be scored so fast.

Yes Dhoni did play a blinder of an inning ( For a change and I hope he continues doing this) , but his captaincy in managing bowlers has been bad

by Suresh Kalmadi on Dec 20, 2010 01:07 PM  | Hide replies

21 Years for 50 Centuries - That means 2.5 Centuries every Year.

175 Tests for 50 Centuries - That means in every 3.5 Tests he scored 1 century.

This is good, but definitely not great.
Also, stats clearly show, he has played very very few match winning knocks.

Forget Bradman, even Sehwag is way ahead.

compaq series and vb series was bowlers. No batsmen had any problem in those matches leave alone sachin. He comes early and gets the first chance. Sharjah was the only sich instance eventhough on a flat wicket.

9 Years for 22 centuries = 2.44 centuries per year.

84 tests for 22 centuries = 3.81 tests per century.

Longevity? 9 years vs 21 years?

Is this the statistics you used to prove that Sehwag is better than Sachin?

He is good and one of the bests from India... but when you dwarf Sachin in front of him you are just showing your illiteracy about cricket.

Here is proof of his honesty:

91.3 Harris to Tendulkar, no run, 83.1 kph, loud appeal for leg before, SRT missed out on the sweep to a tossed up delivery that was too full, was struck on the pads, seemed to strike him in line, but the umpire shook his head, replays show it would have hit off stump, lucky to be there still.

Thats why this honest man hates UDRS.

Do you really understand that LBW is the most difficult decision to give in cricket?

Macgrath bowling to sachin @ 130km/h, sachin ducks and bend on knee hits his shoulder, umpire gives him, replay clearly shows it would have gone well above the stumps.

Umpires still have an option to confirm LBW from a third umpire if they want to. He didn't doesn't mean it's Sachin's fault.

If he is not record hungry then why is celebrating like something he was desperately looking for, even the team gets a massive humiliation.

The Nation is celebrating an individual's land mark, at the cost of team's defeat.

What did he do ? Run around the stadium in birthday Suit ?
host a statue of himself on the stadium platform ?
Or did he raise his bat and look to the heaven ( basically for his dad) like he did everytime since 1999 for every century ?

Did he do something different than what other batsmen do when they hit a century ?

out of 22 cebtury of sehwag india loose in 6 matchs..
by nimit patel on Dec 20, 2010 12:26 PM  | Hide replies

Many people are not getting clean toilet in their home so doing shit here. Sehwag played more match winning century is the great myth for his friend and sachin's opposers.

In 40 test match century of saching india loose 9 match, draw 22 and win 18.

so if sehwag reach to 44 century then india can loose 12 matches then who is better???

sehwag 22 century 6 loose, 9 win and 7 draw...

175 inning sachine 50 century, 144 innings sehwag 22 century...

as all knows people like to write against sachine and make people angry. they are writing just to irritate people.

people writing like , yesterday sachin play for his 50th century,... true.. but if he play even today and make 200 then who will win.. sachin?? no its will be india who will win...

Century is a century . It doesn't matter whether you hit it in 1st inning or 2nd inning. I actually believe its best if your best performance comes in the first inning.
Because a very good 1st inning performance allows the team to dictate strategy

poor sachin...this is kalyuga
by krishna kumar on Dec 20, 2010 12:26 PM  | Hide replies

For all Anti Sachin Fans
from 1990 to till date he has been scoring on a fair bit of consistency.
The reason why he has majority of his knocks on a losing side is because we need team effort.

Some facts :
Till Rahul dravid/Ganguly came into international arena he was the only guy in the team who scored on all conditions...

Post 1996 India was putting better performances because of rahul and ganguly supporting Sachin..Sachin was still performing.

Post 2000 we had some revelation in the form of Laxman then Sehwag...Then we started winning abroad test matches...Even then Sachin performing...

Now : in 2010 current test we still lose after sachin masterpiece....again No one else is playing
Poor worst possible bowling. Forget the pitch.what about the line Sreesanth bowled first ball something wide..what the hell they practice i dont know
and terrible batting by others....

You expect sachin to score on all matches the total winning runs even though opposition will hit 1000 runs...thats the problem This is kalyuga

thanks

And bingo, finally things make perfect sense. It is a team effort, the rest of the team cannot hide behind Sachin all the time. Time to come out and start contributing.

If the rest even played with half the enthusiasm of this guy, they would be contributing much more to the team.
