Ha, ha ... Cricinfo made 2 teams in their All Time World XI chapter. Tendulkar made it in the 1st (main) team itself. Kallis couldn't even make it to the 2nd team.

Is the 1st test starting this week? I heard it is at Centurian, which is a pacy wicket. On Thursday, it will be England ag Australia at Perth, pretty interesting, both matches will be.

Mohammad IQBAL should be included in the Indian team for South Africa tour along with Rajesh Chauhan and Abey Kurvilla.. They have performed exceptionally well in Domestic season. Tendulkar can be excluded from the side to be fit for World Cup.

I can dissagree to the aurgument though am a great fan of Sachin. If you really want to compare greats across times. The way to do it would be this, as per me...
You have to look at how far ahead he is from the next great guy in his era who is playing in the same conditions. So you have to compare bradman and the next guy to him and Sachin and the next guy to him. Who ever has the a greatest difference is the bigger cricketer. As per me Bradman wins that one. So......

One knock on the head of Sachin by Unadkat without a helmet would have settled it. That's how Bradman played. Without a helmet.

ever heard of larwood- he was said to equal to jeff thompson in pace. and to bat on sticky wicket after rain & no covers well it doesnt matter whether bowler were fast or not but do watch some bodyline vidoes

every hear of lawwood ? yes
Did you clock him with a speedgun ?
Oh you mean Larwood played alongside thomson and since THOMSON's bowling speed has been clocked, you can deduce that larwood bowled as fast as thomson ?
Bodyline videos ? you mean the videos where the bowler is bowling bouncers ? you can bowl at 120-130 kmph bouncers and batsmen will struggle to cope up lot of times.
Lawwood is the only fast bowler that has been mentioned regularly. Did Larwood play after that series ? How long did Bradman have to play against Larwood ?

Smith is a Gentlemen off-course. But if you read it carefully he didn't mention another batting genius and gentleman who is on tour and that is Rahul Dravid. Tendulkar off course is a hero of many kids when he was 20 year old and watching him bat that time was a simple pleasure and melody and being an Indian to watch him bat fill so much proud in us that time. I still miss his Batting prowess of 90es. He is still good and developed a different taste in his batting but THAT Tendulkar was a class apart....no one born on earth to match him that time !!

vimalesh, there is nothing to praise for dravid,he is very selfish and i guess no one will inspire him or see him as a idol

Me too fine..have a nice time. Hope all our buddies fine too
Likes of Tendulkar, Amitabh bhachchan, Ratan Tatas, Zaheer Khan and likes inspire lives. These gentlemen have high perseverance, strength to pull out of worst phases in their life, high commitment to meet their goals, willingness to experiment and focused. This is what life is all about!!

Indian Team is always late starter. If they can play draw, then sure India will win the series.
