This is for all those idiotic Sachin bashers... 1. If Sachin wasnt a great player, he wouldnt have played for so many years. 2. Hundreds of cricketing geniuses have rated him as the best in the world. If you think in the opposite way, then i can imagine what sort of sense u hav..!! 3. According to cricinfo, 70% of the test centures Sachin has scored proved to be either matcg-winning or match-saving. 4. Ultimately each and every run he scores goes to team India, u morons..!! 5. If he does an ad and gets pays for it..its because hes successful in his sport. U guys are just jealous,thats it. 6. Lastly, if u really care about the team,criticise the real failures : jadeja,yuvraj,etc..

If Sachin was from UP/MP/Orissa ..he would have been forcibly retired from playing...
Sachin is great player but his centuries are never made in crunch situation...India has not won a single world cup even if he played since 1989..six world cup...........Richard singlehandedly won two world cup for Westindies and would have won third one also but for his imetuosness to finish the game in 30 overs.........

No other board because no other board ever have or had a player of this stature called Sachin ramesh tendulkar ,so you can't how they could have reacted if they would have had such a player

Whats the big deal! Its just basic decency and morality to reject alcohol and tobacco ads. Just because some others are doing it does not make Sachin holier than thou. He will make that money elsewhere. From the news, I saw he was only doing it because it will damage his image. I am sure Sachin will do some other ad to make up for the loss.

For someone who is already rich, this is the minimum gesture expected. If a man who is really in need of money turns down a job for a tobacco or alcohol company, I would appreciate him. The person who is genuine is Gopichand who was in a sport which does not earn much (Badminton) but still turn down endorsing Coke as he did not wish even a single child to get influenced through him.
sachin has recently refused the biggest ever deal of 20 crores per year for the endorsement of a liquor brand , on moral grounds. Now thats CHARACTER for you.
No more 50 overs where one can take luxury of staying there for long time and keep playing for individual record. So yes noone can beat him now. Lucky guy.

sameer, you people have done just that. you have made indian cricket a singles game. you give all the credit to only sachin despite what the other 10 players have done. you have turned a team game into singles game by stealing the performances of other 10 players and giving it to sachin.

there you go again, gopalkrishna and extreme. on one hand you say that cricket is a team game. there are 10 other players in the game. and in the next sentence extreme you say ''still he took us single handedly to the finals'' and by saying that contradict that it is a team game by giving all the credit of other 10 players to your favourite god the 11th player.
