All these Richards, Lara are praising Sachin just to get some peanuts from BCCI either through IPL or some means. They know if they praise Sachin u will get some sort of contract with BCCI.
The only good thing is he is playing for 20 yrs..but seriously dunno for what..Hasnt won a series in AUS(Infact helped not to win in 2003-2004 by making slow 200 in Sydney). Not a victory in SA, a win in Eng becos of Dravid. No world cup won, no IPL cup. Onlt thing stands out is some 10..... runs..

Sachin - the man who lives by & for statistics

I have enjoyed watching Sachin Tendulkar the batsman since his early days in 1989. However, I miss the Sachin of the early 1990s, when he used to play the way Sehwag plays. However, over time he has been extremely conscious about statistics (just watch him slow down when he's in his 90s, unlike Sehwag, Ponting, Hayden, etc.) and you'll know what I mean. Though he will be around at least till WC 2011, it would be more fun watching a Sachin who plays fearlessly and let the statistics be in the twilight of his career. Like the old saying, it's how you live that matters, not how long you live. So, let's hope Sachin does justice to his talent and helps bring home the WC in 2011.
