SL is frequently doing these kinds of deliberate attempts to many Indian Players like Sachin,Ganguly and now Sehwag to deny centuries or other milestones.But India showed good sportsmanship as they didn't commit the same to Murali when he was trying for his 800th test wicket.The batsman could easily throw his wicket deliberately but that was not happened.No need for any official complaint but SL must be given the reply in the ground once again by giving them a humiliating defeat.
i do think the ball is still in play while sehwag came out of the crease to hit it for a six, so it should be counted as 6 runs as the ball is still in play
why people are reacting angrily for sehwag's stranding at 99 i don't know, what is the big deal if someone strands at 99. some times it happens, what if he had got out at 99 while playing a shot.
sehwag is a class batsman, whose ability to score runs does not change with one incident of him get stranded at 99, and further he can always score 100 in his next matches. does people love cricket, if each player keeps on scoring 100's and bowling keeps on helping him for scoring his 100's.
every run is and as a matter of fact every 100 to be scored with fighting and with playing in a war like attitude.
gentlmen game it may be called, but people want the game to be played with lot of passion, attitude, aggression, and even more with lot of irritating sledging, or else who would have watched cricket.
nobody appriciates a bowler if he is being hit for 6 sixer's in an over. and even some time his career might comes to and end if he gets hammered for sixers. a bower job is to contain, take wicket, make life miserable for the batsman when he is bating and deny him every oppertunity in scoring each run , other wise who would be likeing to become a bowler. what is the big deal, i believe, this spirit of playing cricket has to be maintained and there is no requirement of any outbursts for indidents like this...
