Sehwag said "It is fine" after the match. That is, he did not complain about the no ball incident , he was just commenting "I'm fine with it, but they did do it deliberately'. Hope u understand the difference. Similarly what was expected out of jealous sangakkara was "Yes it was deliberate but we did not violate any rule" But he acted as if they all were innocent.
Coming to the sehwag pushing ball to 4 in the South africa test, he did as his team can still win so that amla will not face the ball. But here, by denying sehwag a century srilanka do not gain anything from the match point of view. So sehwag is not an hypocrite.

Very well said. It is okay to bend the rules so that one's team can still win... (as long as one is from India, otherwise we'll shout hoarse about Sydney 2008 all over again).. But its not okay to bend the rules if you are not winning...
Ends do justify the means after all, eh? Which is what Sportsman spirit is NOT about...
Very unfortunate for shewag and shame to lanka cricket. Icc should erase sangakkaras and dilshan TWO centuries from their account and best bowling performance from Randive account.

SI:
And yet we are here churning a single no-ball whereas every single Aussie starting with Sir Don Bradman has been doing this with every moment of the game - courtesy your usually reliable information... :)
The intention was not even to win the game; if one want to fight the war till the end, then he should not do this; this is almost same as cheating their own country, though not for money. Also it is most logical to believe sanga is involved (especially since 2 balls after the bye was legitimate)
Sehwag is the biggest hypocrite; He has been boasting publicly," I do not play for 100". On the contrary he does care and play for 100 and he says so to get away from taking responsibility of playing reckless shot.
If he really did not care , he should have let Indian team management to take care of this incident instead of him making it a big issue.
He has lost my respect. First of all he should know that he is no saint as far as violation of spirit of the game is concerned.
Make no mistake, I am not supporting offenders like Randiv, Dilshan or SRL team.

The reckless shot is the part of the game, and is played by every players in the world. Secondly, access the situation, India was in great trouble by losing 3 quic wickets, but due to Sehwag India won the game, and even got the bonus points. Therefore the integrity of Sehwag cannot be questioned. Thirdly, Sri Lankans were well aware aware that they have lost the match. If they really want Sehwag not to score a century, then they should have make him out or restricted him not to score a run. What was the point of bowling a NO BALL ? Suc type of unsportmanship can be read or caught easily.

Hello, Sehwag did say "It is fine" after the match. That is, He did not complain about the no ball incidenct , he was just commenting "I'm fine with it, but they did do it deliberately'. Hope u understand the difference. Similarly what was expected out of jealous sangakkara was "Yes it was deliberated but we did not violate any rule" But he acted as if they all were innocent.

u r correct after the match sehwag said that it happens in game but when he came and saw the marigin of that no ball he confirmed that it was done by deliberately.
But it is myopic thinking to focus only on Randiv and making it a big issue as if he is the only one in the history of cricket.
Sehwag is no saint as far as violation of spirit of game is concerned. By making this an issue, Sehwag has showed that he is a hypocrite when he says I do not play for 100 or century. That is my point. I have no problem if player play for 100 because it goes to Team score.
Someone mentioned that Sachin was also left on 98 or 99 (?), I do not remember Sachin making it a big issue.
Yes, Sachin raised his voice when a certain Jaychands raised head (denying 200 deliberately)in Indian cricket. We should criticize Jaychands of Indian crickets more.
