To All those who call for Dravid's retirement, remember who performed in Perth on a bouncy wicket and won the match for India. Even in this series, when he batted in the second innings of the third test, he was out under unlucky circumstances. He was looking completely assured and his defence was rock solid. The LBW in the first too was doubtful. I am sure that Rahul would have reviewed all this in his mind and will perform in the next series. He is still good for two more seasons in tests and IPL and will retire in 2012.

Chris, rahul has been performing superbly in last 4-5 series. it is enough. he is not greater than Anil Kumble. And remember who does not perform should go out.Be it Sachin, Sehwag,Dhoni,LLaxman.

We call bias when we see bias ... Murali Vijay and Abhimanyu Mithun are in the team just because of Shrikkanth. Sudeep Tyagi should be tried before unknown like Abhmanyu.
Donot forget India is Test champions. Why you people worried about 3 out 11. remaining 8 are young, or comparatively young. Why not others getting a chance? is it because of these 3? i say No. They had chances, they will be given chances. Think 8 remaining places. Think how raina played today, useless hitting when he came to bat. its better he played like that in 20-20, not test, think if we would have lost him, pressure would have been mounted on us, it was not easy pitch. Time God he was dropped, just about to missed 2 more by few inches. It was Senior Sehwag and laxman controlled him on the field, though Mendis was forcing umpire that raina should take bat immmediatley. let test be test. Not 20-20. or One day. if so then 5 days will reduced to 3 or 2 day cricket.
I have read some of the comments from all of you regarding seniors and juniors, What is wrong with India winning. It was a mixed batch of players juniors performed well take it Ojha, Mishra, Raina. But seniors brought their experience like Laxman, Sachin, Once and while falilure from dravid. But dont discontinue him yet. Time comes to play on pacy tracks of Australia and Moving ball in England you will need experience. Having said that they are not gona be there forever. So if India wins, enjoy it, not to find reasons for sobbing.

Said it right Gopal. Unfortunately we have a lot of jobless frustrated persons here. . who don't like anyone in India "Earning" money. The only thing that they are left with is a third hand Laptop and a stolen internet connection. They are experts in telling you How Sachin, Dravid are useless. Laxman spared today, but they call Dhoni as Dhobi although nobody can come anywhere near to them because of the stink. they wouldn' be able to afford even a leftover Soap.Mother India , please do something about these people. Banning these ones from rediff would be the first step so that at least they can devote their time to try and earn a livelihood.

To those whose understanding of the game is limited to 4s and 6s, Laxman is a pain, but this class should not be following Test Match Cricket. For those however, who love art for art's sake, Laxman is an artist, who as yet has no replacement. In times of crisis, he has proven better than Gods and Demi-Gods. I do not mean to belittle Tendulkar here. He had been failing CONSISTENTLY in times of crisis until about three years back, and any call for his ouster at that time would have been perfectly justified, but now, he has considerably improved his record on this count, and is an invaluable player, and anyone who thinks he should retire has to have a retarded mind. If however, one has to choose one person for his ability to perform under pressure, Laxman is the man. He has to be preferred over Tendulkar.

you must be inebriated...he is like the CEO in any company...main job is to work out strategies..and he is just a wkt keeper batsman...as a batsman he gets limited opportunities to contribute and has done well..
