Re: Re: Re: @ PR and posters of smiliar breeds by Harsha Bhogle (View MyPage) on Aug 08, 2010 12:47 PM Sure, you are right. I have no right to question anybody's belief about God. It's only that every Tom Dick and Harry is called God nowadays that I am still looking for the real God who earlier used to mean something special.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>& gt;>>>>>>>>>>
If you keep looking for GOD outside, you will never find GOD.
GOD resides inside everyone and everything.
if you are sincere, first look inside yourself, you will find GOD--peace inisde. And I assure, the day you find GOD, you will stop writing nonsense about a national hero--god or no god,and will also understand why some people say, if cricket is the religion, Sachin is god.
But I suspect if you really understand the concept of GOD, because who do, talk differently.
Rahul Dravid hould be dropped or he should retire gracefully. He is a very inconsistent player and his time as a good cricketer is gone. He should be dropped and younger players should be given a chance.

either u r blind or fool who doesn;'t know much about cricket
Come on guys, celebrate the victory. Its always a team effort. We are no 1 in test team and whomever has contributed must be appreciated.pls do not divide players here. All of there moto is to win matches for our country.
These losers, whose life revolve around such forum, do not really care win, their only agenda is how to demean Sachin contribution and how to pull down our national hero.
For these morons, Sachin is not a batsman whose ever runs go to team India total, but a bowler whose runs-50, 100, or 200--go to opposition.
It is high time this person resigns. Dravid and himself are no good for India. Once a while after burdening the team, they will rise to occasion and Indians will dance with joy. Why not remove Lakshman, Dravid & Sachin in one lot and give way to Raina & others....

Dravid might not be the one who scores very fast, but he is technically the strongest batsman in the world. You can find lots and lots of players who just throw the bat at each and every ball they face, but there are only a few who play the ball on merit and Dravid happens to be one among them. Test matches require lots of patience and Dravid is the best at it. You might expect one to play for 5 overs and score 50 runs and get out. But it does not work in test matches.
Dravid has never played for himself. It might be your opinion, but it's not the fact. Had he been selfish as depicted by you, he should not have gone out of the ODI team. Just because he moved out of the captaincy role without informing Vengsarkar, his (Vengsarkar's) ego got hurt and just because of that, Dravid has been dropped from the ODI squad. Average of around 40 and strike rate of around 70 over 12 years, is good enough for a player to be in an ODI squad. His play might look like selfish for people like you, but he has saved India a lot of times. It's purely based on merit that he has played for so many matches for India, but not with the help of any "God father".
Which young players are you talking about? Those who have been given opportunities, have not proven themselves. If they are good enough to replace Rahul Dravid, they must have replaced him long back.
Based on what you have posted, one can understand who is barking and it's definitely not the ones that supp
