Glad that you came here searching for him.... ;-)

You probably forgot to tell yourself - "No more Tendu please"... :)

So let me tell this to YOU - "No more Tendu please. When you see a Story related to him DON'T click on it."

Hope you can remember this much. You seem bright enough, so you should be okay for about 2 minutes. When you forget that and come here once more, I'll remind you again... :)

Bad Precedent
by M on Aug 03, 2010 11:01 AM  | Hide replies

No point blocking position for such long duration and making others sit and some of them even had to leave the game because of that or changed for other format and destroyed the playing ability.
Setting very bad precedent ,when younger people will think that once u are getting even a little upperhand though in terms of real quality it is very ordinary but cash it as long as possible and make others believe that it is a great achievement to be preserved for as long as as possible even dictatorial tendencies must be tolerated through clout and hypocrisies.
Make a gang and clout of money making hifliers and preach anything as great for the idiots to swallow for ever.

I do hope u are a working person, so can i accuse you of 'blocking a position' for so many years (till u retire?) Atleast Sachin has achieved something at such a young age... can u hope /aspire to do even a percentage of what he has.. in your entire life span?

When I was about to start reading the paragraphs you written above without noticing anything else written therein and without prejudice of any nature thinking that there is logic in this world may be wrong am I at times that shows there is probably not complete lack of understanding and sportsmanship within today's supposedly sporting youth of your calibre but notwithstanding the logic or lack thereof and the sentence construction and the unabated lengthe thereof and still complete dirth of any meaning either grammatical or logical leads me to believe that you are completely WRONG.

Who are the young cricketeers ? i HAVE BEEN SEEING THE SO CALLED YOUNG BRIGADE BEING DISMANTLED BY BOWLERS FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS !

Are there more ? If so , well they can displace yuvraj /dhobi's position first , followed by laxman, gambhir and then dravid.

So do you have 6 youngster batsman who can displace them first?

I agree with AP again - Fantafun, kindly show us one prospect who can be termed as the next Sachin, we would all be grateful to you (Note: Don't simply name somebody for naming sake; tell us what attributes are there in that person that can make the person an apt substitute for Sachin)

You may be aware, but WE are all not aware as to why Sachin should be replaced when he is playing better than any other player in the team - after all the policy shud be to select the best 11 cricketers of the country, and Sachin is the best we have any day.

Anyway, dont let this hold you back, you carry on with your search for the ideal replacement and enlighten us.

Great Indian Incompetency
by anuradhakumari on Aug 03, 2010 09:26 AM  | Hide replies

INCOMPETENCY has taken/ developed STRONG roots in India....... This weed is not going to be removed very soon/ easily. It exists in all states, parties, local and national levels.... We, the Aaam Admi, has to learn to live with it...

There is virtually no one to address the needs and concerns of Common Indians...
Their :

---- food security (food grains loss, wastage etc. does not bother the people at the helms of affairs/ officals...),

---- food adulteration (no one is worried about the health of INDIA.. More people will be prone to diesease and all know, medical expense is COSTLY in India. So, let poor suffer),

---- Security (Common Indian security is a joke.. Very Frequently there is some rail etc. accident with no strong measure to avoid this and protect/ insulate common Indians. Travelling in India of now, has become scary),

---- Inflation (No one knows or interested to control/ check this... How adversly this is for people on the street...... Taxes etc. on Petrol and Diesel may be cut to insulate common Indian? Why taxes on owning cars, private LMVs is not increased? The hole in pocket of common Indian increses for his no fault. He/ She travels like cattles in Public Buses, Taxis, Autos, Cattle Class/ General Class in Trains etc. )

There are many many other issues also bothering the common Indians........

Sachin scores on dead tracks

Most of Sachin centuries are on dead tracks on sub continent pitches, specially in the last 5 years. It is time for him to retire, before he is sacked by the selectors. He is only playing because he is scared Ponting will break his records.

Winning WCs
by LG on Aug 03, 2010 06:26 AM  | Hide replies

In a team game, I just wonder why winning or not winning WC should linked to skills and capabilities of an individual, it is not like Olympics games, where Individuals are cherished for winning medals.

Only a fool will blame a top-class engine of a car, which have flat tires, for not getting the desired results.

for once i agree with you LG, winning or not winning WC should not be linked to skills and capabilities of an individual. that is why i don't blame sachin if we dont win WC. similarly, if we win WC i dont held sachin resposnsible for winning it 'single-handedly' and 'without any contribution from the other 10 players' either.

bad captains in all world cups... 2011 does not look good either coz dhobi can be lucky all the time and with his passion to include his buddies like yuvi and ishant and jadejas...at any cost will probably kick india out in qualifying stages itself...
best bet to win wc 2011 is appoint sachin/sehwag captain, kick yuvi and jadeja and ishant out... bring back irfan pathan, get mishra in the team along with bhajji... and keep dhobi out as well so he cant play politics and make team lose...
that will be best chance for india to lift wc other wise unless bcci buys it like 20/20 wc india stand no chance...
