Mr Hussain I live in sydney at the moment there is a NRL scandal in Australia about salary cap ,previously there were scandals about players in hotels that were highlighted by a prominent channel in australia ,so it is not squeky clean ,why are you not making a comment about it ,it is bigger than cricket in australia and all games are well attended ,here too there were supporters of Melbourne storm team that thought ,stripping their team of title was a bit harsh so they gathered outside NRL office and protested ,are they not fanatics Mr Hussian? Which world do you live in can you please let us know?. Indian fans are not fanatics ,they are true lovers of cricket ,be it Imran,Wasim,Lara,Border (Madras chepauk stadium(every good bowl ,catch ,spin delivery is apprecaited with a clap ,eden gardens(world cup win for australia under border captaincy cheered them on though India was not even playing)

Nasser Hussain wrote this column for Daily Mail, as the paper's cricket correspondent. He was not required to report or write on the NRL scandal, or the MLB problems.
Typically, you have seen this from the narrow prism of India/Indian vs others. The alleged corruption in the IPL appears institutionalized and even grave allegations like money laundering, tax evasion etc have been made.
Let us not try to brush these under the carpet. Nasser is a fairly balanced bloke and his views are respected.
What happened to the great Indian icons like SMG, who was part of the Governing Council? Other than singing hosannas about the IPL and the now tarnished Lalit Modi, what was he doing at the Governing Council?
Clearly, SMG does not understand what conflict of interest issues are, as he is both a governing council member and a commentator.

Even Hyden, gilli, warne do not match up to Indian talent. None of them form the top batsman or bowler in IPL. IPL exposed the talent of foreign players.
He likes fake cricket. England beating Bangladesh, England beating Afghanistan, England beating Zimbabwe. World cricket is utter rubbish. World cup is farce. At least there should be 10 cricket teams from India to world cup then only I would consider it real.

He was captain of england by chance, as england went thrugh its worst face and decent batsman? he was like pravin amre, mohamed kaif etc from india, a below average bat.
Just like the soccer leagues in Europe, IPL is also a league. Why should anybody object to it ? Any successful event has its critics. Even the Olympics had its share of critics when it was revived in 1896.
Transparency of course is a must and there is no place for cheaters and fraudsters in IPL.
yes boys Nasser is main topic here,, we have to see where our cricket going towords,, i agree IPL is a great success but Mr.Modi photocopied the ICL concept,, CITIZENS OF INDIA think about the funds,, the Indian top men(politicians) brought here,, its full of black money,, does you all think sharukh have so much money,, he might be converted Black money or Member of D Company,, its not we brought cricket to OUR control,, check which all idiots are controlling(pawar/praful/tharur/sharukh/mallya/D company).. all i want to say is if cricket is controlled by this idiots we dont need this honour... thank you,, jaihind.

IPL is not running because of MODI or polticians,, its running because we Love cricket so much,, we should not love cricket blindly unless it is clean and transperent..
I wish to tell you all that 13 idiots of governing council have joined hand to decide the fate of Mr. Modi.I support 100% Mr. Lalit Modi FOR OFFERING A GREAT PRODUCT TO WE LL. oK THERE MAY BE IRREGULARITIES AND AUTOCRACY OF MR. MODI.but how come 13 idiots can keep themself away from responsibility. First of all sack 13 jokers and kick their asses bec. what they were doing.Mr. Modi must be reinstated as chairman and a penal of three people headed by Mr. Modi shud be constituted. Mr. Kapil Dev/ Mr. Anil Kumble shud be involved for IPL 4 .let outside agency shud probe the charges bec. till today no body has shown any evidence against Mr.Lalit Modi except barking.
