Old Wine in new bottle

Whosoever, thinks and believes what this man is saying here, has got to be either mentally insane , or simply high on dope!
Though we all love the glamour and the pretty things about this event, we must not forget the fact that it has taken away a lot more than what it has given us. Gone are the days of admiration of quality fast bowling, or batsmen who batted like sane men, and times are here for people who enjoy nothing but a striped-down, mocked version of the game which we all loved. Manipulating this thought, is what Lalit Modi has done wonderfully, and exploited the opportunities of making for those, who know only how to count cash but not do anything worthwhile or productive. Simply put, down rightly hungry and corrupt.

MODI MAY BE CORRUPT LIKE ANY OTHER INDIAN
by such jano on Apr 29, 2010 08:28 PM  | Hide replies

but you owe the IPL success to him, he worked day and night and made it possible and may have swandled large money in the process.

However key thing here is he did a lot of hard work and swandled money, on the other hand we have now these manohars of BCCI who are 10000 times more corrupt to him and they dont do any work either or say have no capability.

so its ur choice what you want, one who works and eats money or one who just eats money.

The unanswerable Q is - Did he make more money than the hard work he put it? How much of the money made by IPL is by deception? To who should the deception money go to?

if u make 1/10 of the black money he made, even u will make ipl better then what he did. plz don't make him god. he is nt bigger then cricket, modi was nt in cricket administration improve cricket in india, he just wanted to mint money by selling one of best success story i.e cricket. even before modi came in to scence cricket was superhit. he ensured he along with some bussinessmen n filmstars make money. when india stopped going to sharza, modi created ipl to carry out the same dirty game. all the ppl in in r nt fools.

Modi reminds us of Former A.P. CM - YSR.
by Rahul Singh on Apr 29, 2010 08:21 PM  | Hide replies

Lalit Modi reminds us of the former C.M. of
A.P. Dr. Y.S. Rajshekhar Reddy. Just as YSR meant A.P. and vice-versa, similarly Modi meant IPL and IPL meant Modi. This is a very strange trend following off late where the person in question (either case) becomes ALL POWERFUL and perhaps even God if descends on the Earth cannot question them or their deeds. All powers vested in one person is quite dangerous for the state and the game. Both thought themselves of being Emperors of A.P. and IPL respectively. Thats why Sonia Mai did not allow Jagan ( YSR`S son to supersede his late father) BCCI has also followed the same tactics. Stripped Modi of all the powers by his suspension and placing an interim C.E.O. with limited powers. I was flabergasted by the lavish life style of Mr. Modi who no douted minted crores of money along with the others. I was more shocked by his audicity and arrogance in his style which was unbecoming of LALIT MODS.

he turned cricket into a tamasa or circus. cricket will survive w/o modi. well govt removed tharoor w/o trial where was ppl then? now both of them r nt in powerful position where they can remove/hide importnat documents or influence ppl to divert the investigations. let IT do their job. BCCI n GOVT will definetly do a proper investigation soon. but modi is no saint. let there be fair trial where modi will be treated as like a common man on road.

Modi out everything in order!!!!
by Pawan Bihani on Apr 29, 2010 08:07 PM  | Hide replies

The night of 25th April will be remembered as a black day in the history of cricket with removal of Lalit Modi without any concrete reason or evidence. He was not given an opportunity to speak his part of the story either. This is unparrallel and whatever powers the BCCI constitution confers on the president this is totally undemocratic.
Until removal of Modi everyday some new stories were emerging out of nowhere and all these has stopped now.
One really can not believe that whatever malpractices were discussed and activities were carried out has stopped with removal of one person...LALIT MODI.
Lets look back a little. The entire saga started with twitting about Kochi franchisees by Modi.Had he not twitted we would have never come to know about Shashi Tharoor, Sunanda Pushkar, Praful Patel and his daughter,Sharad Pawar and his son in law. This started exposing all those in power and there was only one option left that was to remove Modi, so that interest of all these big people can be protected.
One really wonders why media is silent now.Have they got their part of the loot also. It is really sad that the opposition which was asking for a JPC on IPL is not uttering a single word for the last 3 days.
I am really in doubts whether all this was done to oust Modi.
If Modi has done anything wrong he must be punished but what about all these people who have brought disrepute to the country for their personal gains.
FIGHT BACK MODI PEOPLE OF INDIA WILL BE WITH YOU !!!!
