KARMA
by Jang Bang on Apr 29, 2010 07:53 PM

He was the ICL villain. He went to great lengths to make sure that IPL is a monopoly. He used his powers in BCCI and ICC and made ICL's appeal for recognition worthless. Lalaj Modi, as we would like to call him, needs to start believing in Karma.

I fully feel there more than what we are seeing here,Modi is been vindicated and at same in his kind of role mistakes are bound to happen and if he has done anything un fair he must be given a fair chance to approach court of law and defend . I feel people who are not related to the cricket are enjoying the show , I mean exit of Lalit Modi

there was a duck[indian cricket] giving a golden egg every day. greedy modi tried to kill the duck, n now facing the songs. he is no saint, someone like him will eventually ruin the pure cricket. ipl was nothing but a centre of fixed matches, it was surprising that even a person in the road knew who will win the final before the match even started. australia, england are nt fools that they play less t20 n more test cricket. the days r nt far away when we will be playing test n oneday series in england like pakis n modi will ensure that we only play t20. overdose of anything is unhealthy. we want pure cricket nt the one played by corrupt politicians, businessmen, underworld dons n filmstars.

Wrong analysis. It is the BCCI and the politicians that are trying to kill the goose that is laying the golden egg.

No one in his wildest dreams could have guessed that Chennai would win. The entire media was rooting for Tendulkar and Mumbai.

Its a Vendetta against Modi

The Whole Issue is about Money dear & nothing else. Whats wrong if Modi has made money for himself but at the same time he made sure that other too make the money and has made IPL a Global Name. If u really go by the committment and fanatic attitude through which he has created and sailed IPL so far, I truly believe he deserves millions. Atleast, he is better than the politicians of our country who just believe in making money for themselves only and letting the whole country starve. IPL is a cash cow and everybody in the political fraternity is just ready to milk it down...
Its a Shame..
Let Modi go through Fair Trial and can the Judiciary in India will make sure that the "heavy weights" are also brought to book..
All the Best Mr. Modi. We all owe you a Big "Thanks" atleast for making Cricket a Household name and motivating the youngsters in India [specially from small town] to see a career behind Cricket./

Cheers
A Cricket Fan and An Average Vulnerable Indian

modi wanted his city[he is a gujrati] ahmedabad in place of kochi, tharoor wanted his own, they tried to become bigger then cricket n that too overnight. we started hearing srk more then gavaskar. when someone[tharoor] derailed his[modi] plan modi couldnt control himself, he wanted to show his power. unfortunately he ended up throwing stones in the wrong place[sonia-monmohan-cong], now they will rightly show him who is the real boss.

He is not a Gujju, he is a Marwari, i dont get it every successful Business man is Gujju, how come, AMBANI's are sindhis. only Dhirubhai's father settled in Gujrat !! Gujjus are nothing but traders and historycheaters, whose education level is also not high. They have no capacity or accume to create or manage big organizations and that's why u dont have them at too high levels, they are all middle men and that is all they will end up as. But they pride themselves in being rich when its not always the case.

Modi is one of the Open source for Media
by Ram Gunta on Apr 29, 2010 07:40 PM

Where did this guy, IS Bindra come from? Modi is the one who is going gag over the Kochi franchise on the Twitter and now this guy says that Media is doing all the hype. Why did Modi first start the 'NATAK' in public with out thinking the consequnces. IPL success credit goes to him does not mean he is above the game and every one around the game.

Modi's ouster
by subrahmanyam gadepalli on Apr 29, 2010 07:39 PM  | Hide replies

It is rather unfortunate that two top people connected with Indian cricket, were unceremoniousy eased out of office. Mr. Dalmia was the first, after making BCCI, one of the financially sound sport bodies, and now Modi, who made the BCCI coffers overflow. Apparently, both of them had their stars at the ascendant, during their haydays, and now they are down. It is all destiny, that makes and mars one's life.

ScapeGoat Modi
by gaurav sethi on Apr 29, 2010 07:16 PM

After sitting from the sidelines and quietly letting Modi reign in the tough setup times BCCI now wants to have their share in the IPL cake. Now that the IPL is a brand name everybody is familiar with and the moola raking in BCCI just wants to take control and skip Modi making him the villian in the whole picture. I am not a fan of Modi itself but I say we give him a fair trial in all this.
