who ask miandad for his comments. hungry street dogs are barking when a feast is going on in neighborhood and saying that feasts will go on even if this feast stops.

Answer is obviously at the bottom of the news report : " Copyright 2010 PTI". It is the Press Trust of India who asked them to comment.
Re: IPL would continue to flourish sans Modi: Javed Miandad
by Mangesh Manjrekar on Apr 20, 2010 11:19 AM
In fact that was the only good thing Modi did- Banning The PORKIS outta IPL. For this Modi gets 3 cheers from all indians!
2. The ruling party could not use his intellectual sophistication and power of articulation.
3. His immaculate power of speaking could have been a real bane for the congress.
4. A few tongue slips or unintended mistakes could have been padened.
5. He was in the category of PC rating, which is rarely seen in indian politicians.
6. A little hand holding of him could have used for the benefit of the nation.
7. FM was dead against him since beging where he could have used his potential to raise the performance barometer of his minstry.
8. I thing all these must have been tried but somewhere things could not click as he was not a politician but definitely as potential asset.
9. Nothing is lost; he can be tried in certain other assignments or committees.
10. Once he learns the tricks of the trade, he may show his real worth once the dust settles down.
11. As India has to compete with great nations like USA, China, Japan etc it could have been better to ignore importance to IPL in view of the challenges this nation is facing and many major milestones yet to be achieved are in pipeline.
12. I wish he could be put for some time under a great mentor or poltical risk manger like Pranab Babu or PC or Kamal nath.

Tharoor is best example congress set for country, people and for other party. It is tharoor fault not the party. He prefer woman and money over serving country selfless. He ruined his image and as well has great privilege to serve country. This is not end of his political road. He might be back from congress or from other party.

I think it was a good move by Congress. Sonia and Manmohan Singh would love to have Tharoor, but if they keep him, then they cannot go after all the big name involved in BCCI and IPL. We should also know that BJP is involved in IPL and hence they now go soft on all the scam comming out of IPL cupboard.
