Shame ! Pakis are commenting on IPL. IPL will do much better without Modi and politicians is a fact every Indian will endorse. Now Cong has got agressive and wants to go to the deep roots of IPL but the tragedy is all the cong men and well wishers share major space in IPL as well as BCCI, Cong is going to have a strong punch on its face from opposition in the parliament. Not just IPL, Sharad Pawar is enjoying all the MALAI of BCCI too,and his self defence will be very simple, take the support back from UPA and take into his stride Laloo,Mulayam,Thakreys, all very clean politicians and give warning to Cong of third front, thats it ! and cong will over look all the problems at IPL as well as BCCI.All the SINS of MODI n Pawar will be washed off in holy Ganga and we like fools will be gazzing at each other like loosers.Cong has guts to even question Pawar in these highly corrupt operations of IPL n BCCI ! Frankly speaking Cong should take a daring step and give powers to IT sleuths to raid every establishment of all BCCI and state cricket associations, raid the offices of presidents of all state cricket associations, gen secs, treasureres etc.Raid each and every organisation in which Pawar has a stake or posiiton, scan the Kashmir cricket assn and Farooq and Omar abdullah. Niranjan Shah, and other Cong as well as BJP politicians involved with cricket, vice presidents and gen sec, treasurers of BCCI,and govt will be able to built at least 1 million houses for the poor with this money.

Answer is obviously at the bottom of the news report : " Copyright 2010 PTI". It is the Press Trust of India who asked them to comment.

Lalit Modi exception to the rule.
by loky shanks on Apr 20, 2010 11:08 AM  | Hide replies

the cricketers who have commented on this in the article really dont have much of a say. in my opinion Lalit Modi is not dispensable in this case and is thus an exception to the rule. in the world of sports management it will be nigh impossible to find even a remotely competent substitute for Modi. as he stated he is the Chairman and Comm. of IPL and so has the responsibility and control of this multi billion dollar event. his energy and dedication breathed life into it and blossomed it into its present state which is indescrible in size as an event and to find a similar source of life giving capability in one individual is to put it simply wishful thinking and impossible. if and when the search starts for a replacement we will watch and see but i can tell you in the sports management scenario there is no hope on the horizon and maybe the only possible solution is a combination of sports managers like IMG etc who could take on the role but without his continued 'Mentorship' even their task would be herculean.

Give IPL into the hands of Dr.Vijay Mallya or Mukesh Ambhani with zero politicians involvement and you will see a much transperant, beatifully managed with lots of international publicity and prominance and galore. With so much of white and black money and commissions to politicians and office bearers billions of dollars are going into the drain without knowledge of a common man.Mukesh or Dr Mallya are not CHORs like Modi. Look at the wealth this man and the politicians have amassed at the cost of IPL n cricket, wait and see what happens after the IT raids are faithfully conducted on BCCI and IPL

it was expected . lalit modi was acting too smart.
a cat closes its eyes and drinks milk assuming that nobody is looking at her ,same is the case with mr lalit modi.hope we all remembered how he played tricks and spoiled our legend kapil devs ICL. we indians are becoming very opurtunistics , we have ignored the real hero kapil and supported this 1 and half clever fellow.
we have to open our eyes at least now. i appeal to the bcci to handover the chairmanship to kapil who deserve the most.
