I think Lalit Modi Planted the Bomb.
by chandu chidara on Apr 19, 2010 12:47 AM  | Hide replies

I think, Lalit Modi used his "links" to plant a bomb near the stadium, so that he gets a reason to shift the venue of his choice.
If Terrorists had planted the bomb, couple of things are unclear:
1) Why did not any terrorist group take the responsibility?
2)If terrorists planted the bomb, they would do something big? Not these Diwali Crackers.

so wait .. when deccan mujahideen took responsibility of the act did we not investigate the matter and pointed finger to laskar etc ? I mean, how difficult is it to make an anonymous call that " the bomb was planted by say bangalore mujahideen?"
All this responsibility etc accounts for squat, apart from some epeen excercise.

Isnt there no other venue other than Mumbai.. FYI there are no better stadiums in Mumbai than Chepauk.. Why not Eden Gardens..

Reason.. Madam Ambani would not be happy if the semifinals happens anywhere else.. true to his nature Modi sucks up to her

Its a correct decision
by mssac on Apr 19, 2010 12:17 AM  | Hide replies

I am from bangalore and still i support the decision to move ipl semis to mumbai.
First of all our cops where not serious and now they are requesting to ignore a situation which everyone is terming as 'Minor' but if the boms would have exploded at 8 as planned then I reckon atleast double figure casualty would have occured.

This is a lesson to everyone. Take the job seriously else loose the responsibility. If they move semis to blore then there will be no value for the security lapse that occured.

Because they will earn more from Navi Mumbai (its not Mumbai,, coz Brabourne stadium is smaller) . DY Patil is huge.. 70,000 seater

Why the securty was not tight in the first place.
by Amit jha on Apr 19, 2010 12:08 AM  | Hide replies

My question is why the security was not tight in the first place? how the bomb could reach the stadium? Why the cops are crying now, i think BCCI did the right thing is shifting the final match.

Dude u r not able to read the intentions, any thing happens out side the stadum and you blame POlice for that who were manning stadium. Do you really know the exact spots. Just for petty reasons you can not totally underestimate the security. How can you tell that Maharashtra is a safer place than Karnataka, just it is COn ruled. U r ...

I agree Indian "we r resilient by force, not by choice". We are forced by educated fools like @mssac who does not know any thing even like what they had for yesterdasy dinner. For such fools entire sub continent is suffering.

BCCI needs to be taken over by GOI
by Rajesh S on Apr 19, 2010 12:06 AM

As for as I am aware BCCI's contribution is BIG ZERO to India. Now it is bent upon taking out the image of security forces in INDIA. BCCI has become a spoilt club which needs immediate take over. How can BCCI a private club own Indian Criteck Team and paly with security forces. Just think it is pitching Maharashtra security forces against Karanataka security forces. It is totally against constitution of India. It is slowely sowing the seed for divide and rule or even the seed of disintegration of India. I love my India I say United We Stand, Identified we divide, Devided we loose. we need to show doors for BCCI where it is playing with the unity of India. I can write guge write up here but it is sufficient for one to understand BCCI Intentions and cracks of Unity.
