Why is everyone forgetting that only yesterday Comissioner himself said they will not give permission for Semi Final match unless they finish investigation.

Now what a change in stand.

by ManojGeorge Joseph on Apr 18, 2010 10:31 PM  | Hide replies

If Bangalore police was good enough in providing security, then why the heck they couldn identify the bombs plotted near the stadium and across the City ? And inspite of all these tragic incidents, if bangalore commissiiner makes such statements - really shameful !

Against the south.. 3 out of the 4 semifinalists are from the south, yet both the semifinals and finals are in mumbai.. whats wrong in having the semifinals in Chennai if Bangalore is unfit ( btw Bangalore is a great place for cricket and so is Hyderabad).. u are anti south Modi and IPL

its utter n0nsense to shift any important events due to the fear factor...the org that planted bomb in B'lore has been made successful...and then whats the gurantee that mumbai would not be bombed ??it is a place where some of the worst bom attacks have occured...
IPL is being run by some id0its and corrupt officials...it is a shame...

Well it is just an excuse to have all the major matches in mumbai. I remember when dalmiya was in charge, there used to a hue and cry when final matches were held in kolkata. Now a days almost all major matches, including the semis and the finals are being held in mumbai!!!

who wants to play in Chennai with all the humidity and heat? They should play in Bangalore not anywhere else or else RCB should walkout of the semi finals.

Mr...there have been bomb attcks in all major cities..its not the failure of the police..police is also human and have limitations..its the collective failure of entire govt, people and the nation..
see..if u do not take the war into the enemy's land..u cannot fight a war...and then the corrution, thats a big factor by itself...

Bangaluru
by Ramdas Nayak on Apr 18, 2010 10:07 PM  | Hide replies

Those who are jealous about the progress made by Bangalore use this forum to redicule Bangaluru and Kannadigas. Thousands of students from all over the World come to this State for study professional degrees. Lakhs of people from other States make their living in Bangaluru by carrying business and also working for organisations. This city has brought the world's attention towards it because of its reputation. Rajiv Shulka is a dirty politician who might never been held a cricket bat in his hand in his life time and unnecessarily he has been given a high position in BCCI. Bidari should sue him for his blatant lie. IPL should not be shifted from Bangaluru. Kannadigas are not afraid of terrorists. Let us not surrender to them by shifting matches. Have faith in Bidari & his men. The notorious late Virappan used to wet his pants when heard about Bidari.

hey please dont bring in the issue of language or religion here as terrorism is something which do not have both of them.It is a threat to the entire country. whatever may be the state which is affected by terrorists acts like this, the entire country should be with them to eliminate the terrorists from the country. So forgive whoever has used wrong words about bengaluru. We all indians know bengaluru is a good city and one of the pride cities of this great country.
