1. For Kerala Cricketers - Well, Hardly Any player is left in Kerala or India to be picked up. The team might have overseas players max.

2. For Kochi Sports - The Kochi IPL owners Will Not spend even a paisa on stadium. Already they have spend enough in auction.

3. For Kerala Public - For all we know, They Might Not Have to Pay Any tax to Kerala Govt. Maharashtra style.

4. How much Kerala Govt. Will Have to spend on police bandobast?

5. The prize money goes to Owners / Players.

6. Over time, the value of equity might rise, But Who Will benefit - OWNERS.

The question is why the promoters Were ready to spend Such a high sum - either it is Not hard earned money (Black) or They Want to do something else in the background. Former Captain Azar might be Able to answer.

ALL IN THE NAME OF KERALA

There will be a re-bidding of all the players. The 1st bidding was for 3 years. Therefore all players will be under the hammer in sept-oct 2010.Some of the franchisies have objected that atleast they should be allowed to keep 6 players with them (4 Indians and 2 Foriegners) but that has been challenged by Pune and Kochi because there are 8 teams and blocking of 6 players means some (8*6) 48 players are gone and those will be the cream. So every player who wants to be in IPL4, they have to go under hammer i.e Bidding.

At least they are not siphoning money from the poor people ..... IPL is a cable TV, middle class phenomenon ..... There is lot of money in India but very few good avenues to put it to good use, these people have made a good platform and let them earn it .......

Probe IT Officials- Mr
by SANKAR RAMAN on Apr 16, 2010 12:21 PM

I am really amazed at the IT Officials raid on IPL Office and the questioning on Modi. Still more amazed to see that the IT Deoartment is looking for ANY BLACK MONEY PUM PED INTO IT.What about Black Money of Politicians vailable in Swiss Banks??? What action has the IT Department taken or willing to search for the same? Let the IT Department crack those things first. Whnn it had become the prstige of a Central Minsiter's involvement in IPL Team bidding the Congress Government has asked the IT Department to probe the IPL issue? Now I as a Pub;ic ( on behalf of the Public) request the IT Department to probe all mis delaings involving Ministers and ministries all over India-be it a Congress Govt or otherwise.Let the IT officials address the Public First. has anything got into their heads. Let it start probing what the Public want. We want our Country to become selfrelaint not in 2020-right now within a year.

There is one man in this country who is the baap of all corruption everywhere - right from food grains to sugar to cricket. He is the single most deadly cancer inflicted on the body of Bharat Mata. And yet he gets away thru his political machinations. His name is Sharad Pawar. Modis & Tharoors would come & go, he is the constant of the cancer of this country. Your & mine taxes pay for him, give him security and give him facility to carry on the loot. He is the biggest mafia who would put a Dawood to shame. And even if all know it including the media, no one can do a damn. We shall keep killing machchars like Modi & Tharoor and sleep.

A concerned countryman

Its only Lalit Modi who created mess for Tharoor. Its Indian instinct to pull the legs of others who want to get more than enough.

Instead of Culprits ...
by Bharat on Apr 16, 2010 12:11 PM  | Hide replies

Why they targeted him instead of Kochi Franchise ? again a clear case of missusue of power by congress ministers - moment someone
speak aboutor interfere in the personal interests of their ministers or party - they put whole govt. functionaries to bring that person or whisle blower down - take case of Amitabh, mayawati, narendra & now Lalit modi.
This misuse of power and different departments like CBI & IT depts is totally wrong and not good for India.
