National Waste of Money
by vijaya kumar on Apr 16, 2010 11:08 AM

Mr.Pawar has no time for his Agriculture Ministry but has all time for IPL ,an illegitimate child of BCCI.He has no time to think about Food Inflation at20% but has time for Shilpa shetty,Preity Zintas S.R.Khan etc.The Income Tax department should first raid Mr.Pawar,BCCI and all IPL Team owners including `Sunanda fame Taroor`to bring out nasty money dealings.Who knows the whole IPL might be a `Biggest betting racket` in making with a remote contorl of D`Gang from Dubai.
Shame on all those who are in IPL which is an event `National waste of Money`

BOYCOTT IPL
by vijaya kumar on Apr 16, 2010 11:07 AM  | Hide replies

IPL 20 Twenty is like a Cricket cabret where you find the Orgainsers be only of roughes.Betting and Glamour (Sex?) are the turn ons here.It so pathetic to see the greedy Players getting themselves sold in auction like slaves to those neo money mafia in Avatars of Industrialists. We can love Sachin and Dhoni when play for the Country but not for Ambanis.Shame on them.
Finally who is going to foot the bill?.It is the commen man as consumer who will be paying this indirectly when buying products as the whole recovery of IPL Tamasha extravagance to be recovered from TV ads only. What a commen man should do?
Boycot products which get advertised during IPL matches. Also if possible stop watching so that the TRP (is it real?slips.

Why are you so much against "commercialisation" of cricket? Do you want to go back to the days when the crickets were paid peanuts and were treated like slaves by the authorities, just like the present hockey players? Its always the common man who foots the bill because the whole model is such- A common man's money makes the movie a hit, a common man's money is used to buy the products which help make Ambanis so whats new? A common man spends money on something if he finds value for money, otherwise he does not. If you don't like IPL, simple-switch off that TV instead of getting hyper over something which so many people love. You can see something which you like, there are more than 100 channels. Your patriotism is totally misdirected and meaningless. Many of the cricketers and IPL team owners are more patriotic than you.

I feel you have too negative and uncalled for views and no knowledge of entertainment industry. IPL is a legitimate child of BCCI, delivered to make cricket more entertaining, hence all the glamour. I request you not to watch IPL matches and not be in a crowd who discusses IPLs and not to look at all the cheerleader pictures, where they may appear and for heavens sake not be so negative and critical of all the good things in life. Entertainment and cricket are now an industry. wherever there is industry there is money. Whats so bad if all the big people want to invest and get returns from it. Common man is the one who has taken IPL to such heights - they are the ones paying for while getting entertained. If you are worried about plight of common man, keep all that fire in you till next elections. We all love IPL, we love to see all their matches, buy their products(including duplicates) and enjoy watching Cheerleaders dancing

DIRTY POLITICIANS AND DIRTY IPL MANAGERS
by vijaya kumar on Apr 16, 2010 11:06 AM

The whole IPL episode is full of dirt and sh..t.It is known to everybody how SRK,Priti Zinta or Others are converting their black money.I.Tax people harrase a common person for evading tax of few hundreds or thousands rs and here crooks like Sharad Pawar,Lalit Modi ,Rajiv Shukla,Shashi tharoor are msiuing their power and looting this country. It is really shame on people who vote them to power. Each and every person knows this Congress is rootcause of evils in this country-other parties have to follow their footsteps and yes people of this country are only responsible for everything happening in this country who cannot open their eyes and find the diferrence between good and bad.

LALIT MODI & SHASHI THAROOR
by hullabol sachin on Apr 16, 2010 11:04 AM

BOTH SHOULD BE SHOWN THE EXIT DOOR IMMEDIATELY. MODI SHOULD BE KEP AWAY FROM ALL FORMS OF CRICKET AND THAROOR SHOULD BE SACKED FROM THE MINISTRY AND KEPT AWAY FROM ALL KINDS OF POLITICS. ITS TIME CONGI PARTY AND SARDAR-JI SHOWED SOME GOVERNANCE AND SOME RESPONSIBILITY TO THE PEOPLE WHO ELECTED THEM. IPL SHOULD BE MADE TAXABLE FROM EVERY POINT OF VIEW AND THEIR STATUS AS *CHARITABLE ORGANISATION* SHOULD BE CHANGED TO HIGH PROFILE CORPORATION FOR RICH, CORRUPT AND UNDESIRED ELEMENTS. UNTIL THIS IS NOT DONE, THIS CANCER WILL CONTINUE TO TEAR THE FABRIC OF THE OUR SOCIETY
