please give rest to dhoni for some while, and let him to learn how to bat... ishant sharma very much needed to be in rest. let harbajan be relaxed, if he is still aimless. vvs laxman should be considered of his performances against aussies. in the absence of zaheer, somebody like balaji n munaf patel is needed to support nehra in the pace dept. though munaf can only bowl but he is doin well in the current series. and rp singh, let him learn how to put his best efforts to 5o formats like his 20 format..
India can win this series as the Australia batting looks weak. Ponting and Hussey are the only top class batsman. Watson, Paine, Voges, White and Hopes are average batsman who will struggle against quality bowling. Hopefully, India bowls well.

He needs to be persisted with! He plays best in a losing causes ensuring we lose respectfully! In winning causes, he can be equally lethal: running out partners and himself, taking the asking rate to 7 or 8 from 5.5, playing dot balls to increase pressure on the non-striker! He is absolutely needed...no 2 doubts about it!
Team is so much stronger on the betting side but as much if not weaker in the bowling side. Why? I think it has to do with the mindset of the captain. Lets not think abt the era’s of ganguly or dravid etc. On current leader Dhoni is much more concerned about the line and length for the quicks. Ishant once had the pace of well over 140 not lethal but good pace to trouble the batsman on decent pitches around the world. Classic example would be the way he bowled in Austrelia. Since then his pace drop thanks to Dhoni and think tank (who ever can fall into this is anyone’s guess) to let go the pace and concentrate on line and length. This cost them dearly, now he is in this bizarre situation... Not a threat for any batsman cuz of a lack of pace or not like Mcgrath type bowler who can bowl wicket to wicket. Pathan was another example who was a victim or such stupid theory. For a change now I believe that these guys should listen to Akram who lamented on dhoni’s captency recently. Look at Pak, new kid on the scene is doing wonders for them. Gul another good 140ks bowler doing just fine with his Yorkers and then they still got traditional line and length bowlers in Rana naved and Anjum to make up the balance.
