Dhoni has to be stop being diplomatic and a good boy.
by Ashish Kumar on Oct 14, 2009 10:03 PM  | Hide replies

The upcoming series is going to be crucial for Dhoni. He should stop being diplomatic and a good boy.
No one needs to remind him about the negative contribution of Rahul Dravid in Sri Lanka, CT as well as in the previous 7 ODI series when Dhoni was the Indian captain. Dhoni must insist that Dravid should not be in the squad. Definitely there are some vested interests who are making a case for his selection. After the T20 WC people started talking about the inability of youngsters to play short balls. In CT we saw how well Raina played the short ones. Now, some one is talking of youngsters lacking in commitment. Dhoni should not bow to such conspiracy. If he does hoping that BCCI will keep on supporting him, he should recall moral of the fables of ‘Mitralabh (Panchatantra)” which he must have read in school. Aussies are tough opponents. Even otherwise they are good enough to win in certain circumstances but with Dravid hanging around the neck of team India, not only Dhoni will lose the series badly but will also lose the captaincy and his place in the team.

Indian team selection will be worse now on…!!!
by vickson cv on Oct 14, 2009 09:12 PM  | Hide replies

There will not be any surprise at all for tomorrow’s team selection …. And can see the team India will go from bad to worse …. As selectors wants to promote some one and Dhoni wants his friends…. So finally they got agreed and Yusuf only will go out and Viru inn…. nothing much … no surprise ....BCCI feel that all the players are up to the mark … and done very well in CT also

Like it or not .... Sreesanth is the best fast bowler India has apart from Zaheer Khan.... Seems like the BCCI is playing politics to keep him out of Indian side after the incident with Harbhajan Singh

he he he... Yeah! right! it requires politics from BCCI to keep such a talent out...!

Ask him to concentrate on his bowling alone...!! Dancing and all these monkey business can wait till he proves himself....!

he is a shame to you Keralites!

even with his bowling alone he is better than the RP singhs and the Praveen Singhs. Dancing and monkey antics are just bonuses... People need some extra entertainment naaa :)

If you have to win against Aussies you need a player like Sreesanth who gets into their skins like Dada did

He is one man army in past now we have better ODI players.....I am surprised when Dravid can play 40 runs in 25 bals in 20-20 and 67 in less balls (these kind of innings) then why can't he play innings with 85-110 strike rate......in the last series his st rt was 50-70....bad...even a century with that kind of st rt will help in loosing the match

yeah he is a great man for test but definetly not for ODI. he lost countless ODI for india. i passed my childhood abusing oppenent bowler for why they dont take wicket of dravid in starting and after 40 overs whens RRR goes up like rocket dravis himself sacrifice his wicket by giving easy catch near boundry as he dont have power to hit the ball to cross the boundry.
