though dere are many stadiums in india why more than one game is being scheduled at one place,why not a game at a stadium,by which all d stadiums in india should have been covered and it will have a enhanced cricket buffs..dis is sure shot politics of sharad power who only knows 2 give games 2 only those who voted for congress...by dat also small stadiums will have bettter facility for hoisting world cup games and thus infrastructure will b improved...but durty politics need not want dis 2 b....
When compare with australian,New zealand and England ground, our grounds are poor. There is no proper seating arrangement,cleanliness toilet. We must have the pitch like abovesaid country.

Indian grounds aren't bad at all. Maybe the grounds in Western countries are better, but by no means Indian stadiums are poor, particularly the stadiums in metro cities.

Why don't you recall what happened in the semi finals of the 1996 World Cup in Eden Gardens ? There's a video clip of that match and afterwards on youtube.

thank BCCI otherwise the venue would have been blacklisted for 1996 wc riots followed by 1999 pak match.

With the dynamic young team that we have coupled with Tendulkar in form, I strongly believe that we can reach the semis. It'll be upto us to then make it to the finals and lift the Cup.

possible.. but then weak indian bowling lets them down in crucial matches. lets see if trend changes in 2011.
