Why you are targetting only Tendulkar? Can you please give the data as how many times either Pointing or Lara or Steve Waugh or Inzaman had won test matches for their respective countries against quality bowling on bouncy tracks? My dear friend, it is very difficult to score against such deadly combination. Had any batsman had won for his country against the Holding/Roberts/Garner/Marshall or Imran/Waqar/Wasim or Mackgrath/Gilspie/Bret Lee or Donald/Pollock/Macmillan on bouncy tracks of Durban, Perth, Kingston? If yes, please give the details. Do not criticise in air. Please do not make loose comments.

cricket should be banned in india. further showing or publishing any material related to this game should be treated as a crime. then our young and growing generation will use their brains properly.

Who decided that scoring century in 4th innings is the measure for a cricketer's credentials? Can we say Dravid's century in the last match is useless?
Please, please do not blindly adulate and indiv records chaser. They played a meaningless session so SRT can get a century, a typical one for records. Today in Kanpur, he'll go for some useless 100th fifty in first class cricket.
Match result was foregone conclusion, but no they had to play and play so Mr SRT can get his 200 ball 100, and more records, and 30000 intl runs.
This totally sums up his career and value to India's cause. No other fan following or country would tolerate this. Just compare to Ponting and Lara. -- SRT celebration week has restarted. Please join the show. Teeming crowds will once again felicitate Mr SRT for:
- umpteen useless self serving 100s - 30000 runs in his own cause - record cents - record 50s - record tests - 17000 - 12500 - No Wcup wins - never rising to a challenge - 'Injury' when in danger if being dropped - 0 vs. Aust/Pak/SA followed by 150 vs. Zimbabwe/Bangladesh on many occasions - Stalling matches to score personal milestones - Mutual admiration society with Messrs Gavaskar, Shastri - Dropped from all time dream Test team list on numerous occasions by cricket greats. They know exactly how many matches he's won for India, which is 0.

Boss.. get your facts right. Sachin is not the only one who has played to get to a milestone. Even SouthAfricans do tht Ex. Gibbs scoring a double century in NZ. They gave up a push for victory for a mile stone.Do you really watch cricket ?? Ex's . Sachin's 1st test, he played with a bloodied nose against Waqar. 1996 series in SA, Sachin blasted the South African attack in one big inning. Please talk to Shane, McGrath and Ponting himself to understand how many runs he has plundered against them. Guys this is a team sport. You need a good contribution by all 11 not just 1.Do have some sense in commenting.

The 4th session was not played for Sachin to score a 100. It is mandatory to bowl a minimum of 75 overs on last day of play.If Sachin and VVS Laxman hadnt stayed, the match would have been lost. Dont blindly hate Sachin. Look at the facts. He has won matches for India in Australia, England, West Indies(against Walsh, Ambrose) and all quality bowlers.

if scoring centuries at will is so easy , why dont other batsmen do it ... there are a few others who want to get in the side. A century even against kenya is hard ...
he always scores on flat tracks... while abroad..he only socres runs in a test matches when he gets flat track AND opposition's best bolwers r inujured/retired... For eg..we all saw how poor he performed in NZ last 2 last tour( just b4 wcup2003)...but on last NZ tour he got flat track Inexpereicned bolwers...he scored centuries and improved his test records in NZ..

who asked u to keep track of tendulkars batting records? mind ur own business and let poeple live in peace !
Re: Tendulkar
by Balaji Krishnamurthy on Nov 24, 2009 09:00 PM
In that series no one performed with the bat. If India had one bowler of express pace, the outcome would have been different. The pitches were the most underprepared wickets. I remember Bobby Simpson saying that underprepared seaming wickets are worse than underprepared spinning wickets. So those two pitches were not worthy of cricket. Talking about flat tracks, he has scored in Headingley, where the ball moves the most. He has done well in bouncy Aussie pitches, so to call him a flat track player is stupid.

he is the only player from india scored century in world's fastest and bouncy pitch (perth). check the records and then speak

Typical India batsmen's record that means nothing for a win. and one of them is useless anyway - personal records SRT.
Re: Re: Unique world record
by You See on Nov 24, 2009 06:27 PM
So is Ponting playing even now when he has lost Ashes series twice... chasing Sachins record and not allowing younger players to perform. Ponting always scores in Flat Australian pitches and not when the ball swings or spins
Re: Re: Re: Unique world record
by Ritwik Bhuyan on Nov 25, 2009 11:34 AM
YouSuck, Ponting has led to two WOrld Cup victories, two Champions Trophy victories, consistent placement of his Team in No.1 position even with youngsters.
Name, someone who could handle his responsibility both as Captain and No.3 batsman as consistent as Ponting...
You can't because you are crooked by your thoughts and action.
Looking at the way, both teams are easily able to score close to a 1000 runs from both innings, it makes sense to seriously switch over to a T20 or T40 format for a result to show. Else all Test matches will tend to meander into a familiar draw pattern. How comes the pitches have all gone bad ?
Cos he saw the track and it's very very safe for one more useless score. esp when everyone and his brother is scoring happily.
What's the next useless self serving record - is it 100 half-centuries? saw that in the paper.
Ten more days of SRT and useless celebrations. That last 100 in AHD even when a draw was assured, was a shame. Wake up, and recognize the god of useless things.
