people—who expect or rather demand from Sachin to win every match and WC individually in a team sport, where collective efforts from all members is important—would have similar high expectation from themselves, Indian would have been a world leader by now.
Bu then, these people may not be Indian at all or if they are Indian by origin must have totally failed in whichever country they now live in and have no friends--completely isolated from the society. These kind forums are the only place where can satisfy their false ego.
Definitely, Sachin could have won more matches, had he had bowlers who could take 20 wickets on regular basis and little support from other when it was most required.
If you do believe that matches are won by bowlers and with collective efforts, you won't have raised this question.
Auss have won matches whenever they have bowling attack better than opposition---during the time of Macgrath, Warne, Gillipse, Mcdormat --but lost, as is in the case of Ashes--when opposition bowling attack was better.

People in india are shameless who can not pay respect to their legend...They know damn abt cricket...think about that...20 years of international carreer,career threatning injuries,last 2 years avg of 49 in odi and better in test...had won us Aus tri series,Srilanka final,England test,Saved us 1st test with Aus, Century in each test series..Is there any batsman who did this? show me Ricky pointing did that..Does Ricky pointing have weakness..yes..spin bowling and out swingers..Peeple says he won ODI for Aus against England recently..that's the only one which he won..and he was out when Aus had to get 45 more runs..His teammates did that..Sachin was out when team needed 19 runs with 4 wkts in hand..Why Ricky pointing is not critisied because fortunately he is not playing for india..Eventhough he can't be compared with Lara and Tendulkar(Because he can't play against quality spin and quality pace..it is proved again and again), His compatroit like that idiot ian chappel project him as that..because Ausies have patriotism..We indian, does not deserve legends like Gavaskar,Kapil,Tendulkar..Because we are the only one who bashes them..Whole world acclaim them(Including cricket legend)..

I agree with you. I was also astonished when Sachin was booed for the first time in his career at Mumbai. Indians need to learn how to respect others.
