From my retrospection as a kid,I appreciated his master class and execution of the shots which I think has only evovled since then. Great foot work, great improvisation and great technique which is an absolute visual treat for all cricket followers the world over. Its our privilage to have him playing even today and as most of you all will agree that he is still an ace batsmen and showed great adaptibility as the nature of game changed over the recent times.

Great stuff,keep going Sachin.....

Cricket is my religion, Sachin is my GOD !!!
by Lakhdeep on Nov 14, 2009 06:14 PM  | Hide replies

On this Earth, breathing the same air us is God himself,
he goes out to bat - there are "Billions" of expectations, wishes and prayers,
he controls the emotions of a vast majority of human life on this planet,
and there are so many doubts ... so many questions ... does he have the motivation? ... isn't he too old?
but still he shows unimaginable poise, there isn't a reaction from him,
like a craftsman ... he starts to carve another masterpiece .... masterstroke after masterstroke ....,
deserving all the possible adjectives of all the languages put together ... and may be more,
if he fields on the boundary ... bowler runs in ... he too walks in ....,
all the worshipers screaming his name at the top of their voice...,
he turns back ... screams start to build louder and louder ...,
he waves to the worshipers ..., they just explode ... with exhaltation,
borns in God's own country - India,
he is the 11th incarnation of lord Vishnu,
his name is "Sachin Tendulkar".
(please forgive me if I hurt anybody's religious sentiments, I am a small human singing his praises)

yes you are correct jp_jee, luck forms an important part of your career, more than that you should have people around you who believe in you and have confidence; that has Sachin kept on going..for years! and of course many more years..!

Sachin- Passion brings speed, energy and willingness to carry on
by Rahul Kapoor on Nov 14, 2009 06:05 PM  | Hide replies

Guys, the passion with which Sachin plays right from day one in the match against Pakistan in 1989, he still shows the same determination, passion and his williness to contribute. The speed and energy with which he carries himself is remarkable and a reason for all the youngsters to learn and execute. Saching undoubtedly has been the king of cricket for last 20 years..and I am sure we still around 3 more years of cricket left in him; i m looking forward to the coming years too!
WAY TO GO SACHIN!

sachin
by jigar desai on Nov 14, 2009 05:58 PM

I just hope that he carries on because he is still like a young kid who has just started his cricket. He is always hard working, always looks to improve even after 20 years in the game and the kind of love and passion he still has for the game is amazing. That is the secret behind him playing for so long. I just want him to score more and more runs...like the one he got against Australia (175) in Hyderabad. I want him to be happy and I wish him all the best.
