Pakistanis and many of our own people like them (you know who I am talking about),are simply jealous of India and especially that no one in their M world is even close to him.
2.Attention seekers: They know Sachin has a almost worshipping fan base. Say anything against him, and they will get attention immiddiately.
3. The sheep:
Who really dont know the cricket or what batting is or that cricket is a team game. They just follow what they hear because it gives more thrill to be a sachin's critic than his fan.
4. None of the above.
Summary:If you are a Sachin's critic, tick which category you belong to. If you ticked none of the above, then you can not be Sachin's critic.
Another Fact:People criticising sachin on this board are all 1)Porki's trying to create divide bcoz they don't have any one in sachin's league 2)Bachas who just started watching cricket 3)Teen girls who are attracted to Dhoni and Yuvraj
Let this kangaroo do more to stop the racist attacks on Indians down under.... mere speech would not iron out the differences. If Indian students stop going to australia enmass, its kangaroos who will lose the much needed revenue.

NO Aryan!
It is the Indian students who stand to lose more! You seem to be laboring under a delusion that Indian students are doing a favour to Australia by going there to study! The fact is Indian students are compelled to go to such countries which provide quality education as the same has been denied them by their country origin! The Australian economy certianly wouldn't collapse if Indians don't go there to study! And the Australians certainly aren't standing at the airports with garlands in hand to welcome Indian students as the saviours of their economy!

Myth 1 : When ever tendulkar scores a ton india losses ? FACT:india has won 32 matches out of 45 when tendulkar has scored a ton which is a whopping 71%
Myth: 2)oh is it ? but this useless player should have scored all his 32 match winning centuries against weaker teams like bangla/kenya/zim? FACT: His tons have helped india win 9 times against australia.list is as follows - australia--9, new zealand --5, srilanks -5, kenya -4, zimbabwe-4, west indies-3, south africa-2, pakistan-1 & namibia -1
Myth 3) : All most all of his match winning centuries were scored batting second this choker cant score a run while chasing under pressure ?
Fact: Tendulkar has scored 17 tons while chasing a huge score & india has won 15 times ( unbelievable 88 %).some of his most popular innings while chasing , the one against aus in WB series downunder & the one in sharjah , the innings against pakistan in wc,
MYTH 4)May be this was long time back ,BUt in recent times whenever he has scored a ton we have lost ? FACT:India has won last 4 matches out of 5 when he has scored a century ( 80%)
Myth5) All his Man of the match awards are useless ? we have lost those matches like we did against aus recently !
FACT: Tendulkar has won 60 MOM's out of which in india has won 54 times (90%), & 8 times he got MOM award in the finals ( Hold ur breath 100 % success rate , all were won ) . All other so called indian greats combined have played close to 1000 matches & n have not won 60 mom & won

Buddy u seem to forget that sachin has opened all along and that is where he scored those centuries. Even when he batted second, the score to chase was around 260 odd which is definitely gettable by today's standards. Moreover if one gets to bat all the 50 overs, he definitely score centuries on flat batting pitches and win matches. But to score well and finish off a match when u come low down the order is no joke and u need to complimemt dhoni for it. How many people do it? But, yes i agree, his 175 against the aussies definitely was one of the best innings played under real pressure and i have hardly seen him play in such a manner under real pressure of a huge score. But he played a poor shot when he had the aussies under his mercy and the asking rate too was well under control. That cost us the match.
Re: Re: Sachin has won atleast 54 matches for india !
by sunil kumar on Nov 13, 2009 12:28 AM
dhoni batting was the main reason we lost champions trophy, this chap is lucky that he still is the captain, how many matches has dhoni won ? let accept the fact last 2 years dhoni has fizzled out , he rarely hit a six or even four, 8 out of 10 matches he plays very slow as though trying to secure his place in the team, although he did play a good innings against aus, v have to watch n see if he can survive

sachin started in middle order , he was promoted coz of outstanding performance, there are so many openers gambhir, sehwag, why dont they get the same runs , its not a joke to play 50 overs & score in such an aggresvise manner, u have to play cricket to understand this, he did play a poor shot , so did everyone, raina, jadega, sehwag & gambhir were dropped twice , only a fool wud blame sachin for failures of others

The very fact that you have taken pains to collect such statistics shows how strong the criticism that Tendulkar is not a matchwinner is. In no other great batsman's case are statistics pointed out in such detail to prove that they are matchwinners. Viv Richards scored only 24 test centuries, but he considered the centuries greatest. Why? because he was a matchwinner. Although Tendulkar is undoubtedly great, he is not a matchwinner. This is truth and it will be bitter.

no doubt viv is a legend ,viv richards played with the greatest team of all time, he had best bowlers & all rounders ever to have played cricket, who is tendulkar playing inconsistent team & in 90's he played with the weakest team , thats the big difference . See what happened to brain lara with the pathetic team support he , atleast tendulkar took india to WC finals , brian lara was not able to do that despite his genuins , it all a team game, team is as strong as the weakest link.

halwa singh ,ur mad , i have presented facts & still u dont approve . ur a born pessimist. i have not taken any pains to collect stastistics, its available on wikipedia, dont forget the same viv richards played a huge role in india's WC 1983 win, viv is still great but he had the best team in the world , hence the success rate

Halwa Singh, based on your critics: There are no match winners. We play as a team and we win matches as a team with big and small contributions among which Sachin's contribution is more and has to be appriciated no matter what.
Yuvaraj is an idiot. This guy doesnt have any test record to speak of. The guy is a total failure against aussies in test matches.
That this idiot is talking ill about Sachin who has a stellar record against the aussies tells me Yuvaraj does not know his place in the cricketing wORLD. It is a credit to sachin that he has stayed fit for 20 yers and showed these green horns dhoni and yuvaraj who is still the master against the aussies. Yuvaraj should shutup.
This guy is good for IPL and one-dayers. Nothing more.
Re: Yuvaraj is Not So young himself! Cant stay fit!
by ramakrishnan s on Nov 12, 2009 10:34 PM
Boss, what did yuvraj say about sachin for u get so worked up?
Some haters must be feeling wierd, Why are everyone praising Sachin while he is useless, Aus PM, Bradman himself,Warne, Richards, Lara, Gavaskar etc have all praised him, the haters might probably know more than him, Wisden rated him as the second best Test batsman ever and the Best ever ODI batsman , so that settles it, nobody cares what any Tom, Dick and Harry writes in Rediff Blogs
Re: Surprise?
by Joe Fedrick on Nov 12, 2009 09:32 PM
But one thing for sure... Aussies are really great bcos of the mental strength. They don't worship individuals like we do for Tendulkar. This culture should change and we've to concentrate on fighting till the last ball.
Re: Re: Surprise?
by ramakrishnan s on Nov 12, 2009 10:36 PM
That is inherent in our blood and would never change. We would always woprship an idol...it matters little whether we win or not so long our idol does well!!!
But Action always speak for itself and thats the realestic way to impress.Sachin rarely speak but his bats speaks for him..Hats off to Sachin for his unmatchable consistancy and 17000 runs Hands down to Kevin Rudd for his administration and wrong assurances to Indian students studying in Australia!!!!!!!!!!
What is Aussie PM indicating, or hinting, that Sachin should retire? That is what many of us are wanting. He is really Gfather of Cricket. But he has selected himself (hell with the Selection committee) for the World Cup ODI !!
Re: Sachin
by shaank on Nov 12, 2009 09:07 PM
it is perhaps not in sachin's hands 2 retire as market forces r not allowing him 2 retire even if he wishes 2 do so.....
Re: Sachin

I agree with you, sachin is needed for his experience, harbhajan and pradip for batting, yuvi for bowling and the greatest cap is for his leadership, am I right?
