no support
by polumahanti praveen on Nov 06, 2009 11:48 AM

there is no proper support given for Sachin in yesterdays match... it was very pity. Its a world record feat by Sachin under such huge pressure conditions and also under the lights.. even though Gibbs 175, remember its day match.
Bad Luck Sachin and INDIA!!!!

It was gettable in last over also. There was no need to run for 2 runs or P. Kumar should drive his body.

Salute to Sachin.

Sachin is a gr8 player no doubt but he is not part of any world cup winning team till know will be his biggest shortcoming and will hurt him the most.Whereas players like ponting have featured in so many world cup wins.

He did it almost in South Africa. Only his effort led Team India to Final of World Cup that time. Unfortunately he could not perform in the final and team India lost. Mind that, the remaining players should also perform to win a mega game. u donot like sachin because he is hindu, if it was azharuddin, then your msg will be in other way.asnakemotherindiafeeding.

Sachin played very well in almost all WC matches
1992 WC
1996 WC
2003 WC
But WC win will also depend on team effort. In 2003 WC he played well in all the matches except the BIG FINAL !!!!

Because cricket is a team game. And no individual can win it. Even Brian Lara hasn't featured in a world cup winning team. That's because, even though he was a great player, the team that he played for wassn't that great.

I know cricket is a team game but to consider sachin as the greatest he should have led india to a world cup win at least once bcoz the greatest make even an ordinary team achieve gr8 heights.

Thanks for your comments. Sachin was NOT leading most of those WC teams.
You better ask this question of the respective captains. Fine? :)

no religion, but u community has forced us to more sensational about religion. so many attacks on mandirs, u will find in history and still on.. and u support Pakistan team against India leaving in India only because of religion. And when it was really a shame when India won the first T 20 WC Win, there was communal clashes in Ranchi, Bhopal, Assam why? and that took place in such locality where u people were majority in numbers.

No serious cricket
by polumahanti praveen on Nov 06, 2009 11:38 AM  | Hide replies

Reasons for losing easy win matches:

1.lack of proper communication b/w players
2.Team selection was random and keep on changing each match
3.throwing wickets by playing reckless shots
4.putting more pressure on the lower order batsmen
5.losing wickets by runouts
6.No proper guidance from the skipper
7.wrong decisions from umpire
8.Toss effect

Even in winning 2 matches also the above things were observed. But only highlited when matches were lost !!!!

I wud rather say...the following reasons ;-

1. No partnerships apart from Sachin n Raina
2. No determination to stay at the wicket by most of the players
3. As usual the Indian tail flopped
4. Wrong shot selection by Raina n Sachin when there was no need for such a shot
5. Poor mental strength n character to handle such a situation
6. No attacking/ economical bowler to contian Osz..

Kya faayda? when he score India rarely wins.
This overrated guy has never delivered when needed for India. Of course indiv records champion like his mentor Gavaskar. Not worth $.02 for India's cause, no a match winner. Leave that to real players like Ponting, Bevan, C.Cairns, Morkel, G.Smith

Dude, how do you expect an individual to win a match in a team game? Get real man...an opener is supposed to set up the game for his team...the middle order and the lower middle order is supposed to finish it...especially such a high scoring game.

You moron..just check the rcords on cricinfo site how many runs he has scored in wining matches. It's itself a record.
And morebesides, it's not his fault if 3 batsmen couldn't make 19 runs from 18 balls.
More precisily neither you mum, nor your dad could have given you birth single handedly. They were needed one another's support. Same here he was needed support on the other side. but they failed to do so.
and it's raina who played the rubbish shot first. hadn't he played that shot india would have won 3 overs before.

He at least gave a chance to win. When Aus scored 350 do you even in dream realized that india can win. it was he who created a chance to win which was lost by rest of indian team. To me turning point was jadeja run out. just 19 required of 18 balls and india lost 4 wickets.

Instead of cursing them you are trying to show sachin down. bewkuf

What do you mean by when needed?
His 32 tons are in winning matches, he has 60 MOM awards under his belt, that means his performances was the best in that match.
His recent 138 against SriLanka in final match, was that match less important or was a needless match? 109* and 91 against Aussies in Australia in finals matches were too in needless matches. What you have in your head man, is it S**t?

My dear friend......... Why do u forget his last tour to OZ's land, where he had given a series win (3matches) single handed scoring 2 tons 1 2 mathches n there was no need 3rd match...Keep eyes open for rest of records n give u r comment. No need to criticize this issue.. in wrong way.

Sachin bhai !! My heartiest congratulations to you on your great great innings which made me remember the days of yore when you played a major role in India's victory with your bat n bowl. I beleive this inning was the best I saw from you and one of the most heroic one by any Indian. You have done it under pressure what many youngsters have NEVER !!All that was not to be was the last hit from your smashing bat taking India all the way to home . You should have adviced Raina to take it cautiously as we reached a run a ball stage (42 runs required). I would like to see u do it in may more to follow.. Go BANG IT !!!...Anurag
