Stupid dhoni becoming another ganguly.
when he was fearing to hit, why that hell fellow went to bat at first down? he is main culprit for chennai's lost.
Hussey could have got chance instead of waste Oram.
Dhoni is becoming another selfish man (Ganguly)

absolutly, Dhoni is becoming gready day by day, he wants to be on TV LIVE, such that his ads such as AIRCEL....he is thinking more of MONEY now...before once in 3 balls he used to hit a boundary or a 6 in 50 overs match but now after 29balls he tried for a six....:)

Favoritism??
by Guest on May 24, 2009 02:34 PM

As an ardent cricketing lover, it was outrageous to see Chennai super kings losing the crucial encounter match against the “underdog” Bangalore Royal challengers.

What went wrong?

My strong feeling & view is that right from starting of the IPL session-2 there is sense of biased outlook given to me by the skipper and the Chennai super king team management.

1.      Despite good performance by Sudeep Tyagi on some of the IPL league stages matches, MP Gony & L Balaji has been picked ahead of him and we have all known the hard fact what happened in the semi and proved costly.

2.      I also see a sense of reluctance in the picking up the spinners - young talented Off-spinner R Ashwin from Chennai has proved his metal with whatever little chance given to him, both with the bat & the ball has not been picked inspite of his match wining performance against the King XI Punjab on Thursday.

3.      M Vijay, a classy right hander who has done extremely well in domestic circuits in the recent season, is in thick form, has been deliberately ignored & parthiv patil has been picked ahead of him, as opening batsmen/wicket keeper----- I was just wondering what will be the future of Dhoni if he tries change his natural gift of wicket keeping.

The above hard facts has raised a strong doubt in my mind, whether CSK is with right mix of wining team or it is fading away in wrong selection of players - obsessed to non performing international players!!

I am making a humble requ

Dhoni - Bloody cant you hit sixes and fours....you seem not fit to play 20-20...yeh single single kab tak chalega....In 50 over matches it may work but not in 20-20....i think your batting was one of the major reasons why your team lost!!!...

I think if some one plays like this whom ever Dhoni or Yuvi or anyone has to shown the door.........this is insult to cricket...he was playing like test match...
He thinks that he cannot be reoved his place from CSK and INDIA but ppl who thinks that thier position in the team is granted should be shown the door

Challengers slay kings to enter final..............

The whole IPL affair is a big "gol-mal" simple mate did you closely watch the game? if you had you'd noticed a sudden and totlly listless approach (from 11th over) by CSK suddenly a disinterested sort of approach switching from top to first gear ! Did Mallaya's money play the change of tempo ? Don't forget this IPL mate is not a tourny of loyalty for country, but love of dollars comprising hotch-potch nationalities. Now you know who is laughing all the way to the bank.

Guys...stop being fanatical about it... its all a big farce and should be seen only as an entertainment...don't ponder on logic!!! It's all too rosey for a two underdogs of last year to become finalist of this year. Moreover, the huge number of closely contested matches in IPL are quiet evident...else why would you and I have interest in watching them. This is good entertainment like watching a good hindi masala!!! So, sit back and enjoy and don't take sides.

15 minutes of madness or sanity?
by Orient Mystique on May 24, 2009 01:55 PM

I read an article in the name of M S Dhoni in Deccan Chronicle (Hyderabad Edition) in which he had said the following:

- It is a like a lottery from semi finals stage and any of the four teams can win the finals.

- During the league phase, his team had committed quite a few mistakes, which were covered up by teamwork.

- One outstanding batting performance from any batsman like Hayden or Raina can take the team through in semifinal / final.

- "15 MINUTES OF MADNESS CAN PUT A TEAM OUT OF THE MATCH".

Well, I am suppressing my urge to point out the many mistakes Dhoni and his team committed not once but repeatedly in IPL-2009, since I still love Dhoni and CSK.

The only thing I certainly want to point out, in the light of his above article, is that for CSK, in the semifinal against RCB, it was just about 15-20 minutes of sanity, when Parthiv and Haydos put on a good total in the first 6 overs. Rest of the match was pure madness.

I am extremely sad for the display by my favourite team CSK yesterday.
