1 more chance; just 1 more chance may be given to Rahul Dravid in Indian One day team considering his performance in IPL 2 season. His strike has been just above 100 in most of the matches he played so far; that may not be very good for T20 format; but that is something very great for One day internationals;
I am not expecting Rahul Dravid to score runs at strike rate of over 100; that is not possible also; but he can average strike rate of 70 , that is very decent in ODIs. In ODI, you are playing whole half day of 50 overs and there nust be someone to stay at the crease while in other end, runs may flow freely thereby ensuring 300 score even in bowler friendly piches.
Hence you need batsmen like Rahul Dravid & Rohit Sharma to play anchor innings with a strike rate of 70 so that valuable contributions from Sehwag, gambhit, Yuvraj, Dhone would see the team reach 300 run at end of 50th over.
I hope selectors may think in these line and may offer a last chance to Dravid

People called Rahul is not meant for ODIs and now what is Dhoni doing?? Dhoni plays 20-20 without scoring a boundary. Dravid has helped the young batsmen in his team by holding one end tight.

How much did Ganguly score in the IPL? Was he comfortable facing the fast bowling.
Yuvi cannot play spin, struggles against swing, and cannot face quality pace bowling, still he is #1 ODI player for India.
AMBATI RAYUDU next to TENDULKAR, he should have been in INDIAN TEAM some 5years ago, something has really gone wrong in selection, I think he is in ICL but Indian selection should consider his talent rather ICL/IPL…he is real hetter of cricket ball more like Rohit, he is great talent I think its never late then NOW

Deccan chargers should play Scott Styris in today's final, or else they will find it tough, with only Gilchrist firing and a bit of Symonds and Rohit sharma it is not enough, they will have to bring in Dwayne smith the pinch hitter at cruical and crunch moments.

They can't play more than 4 foreigners.Gilly/Gibs/Symonds/haris. Anyway finally two best teams of IPL DC/RCB in final. Old heros again showed that T-20 is not a only young guy play. Even Indian oldies kumble/Dravid/sachin mor sucesseful with bat than dhobi/yuvi etc.

I think smith should be in for Harris and Laxman for Bilakhia. Atleast Laxman can score singles of Kumble and Van derMerwe

y not, he scores at run a ball in Tests! All I need from LAXMAN is 10 runs of 10 balls in T20 - bcos the others like Venue, Bilakhia, Maqsusi havent even scored a decent run!

Absolom is a serious talent. KKR should bid on Abishek Junjunwala.
RCB is in the finals without a quality fast bowler. Dale Steyn is not fit. Bracken is not fast. Neither Praveen nor Vinay cannot be same on the flat tracks in India.
Mallya should think on bidding on James Bond............... Shane Bond... for the next edition once Bond is free from the ICL contract.

Kumble again proved that he is better captain than dhobi. Dhobi is simply overhyped by biased fans & media like NDTV. Not won a single match on its own. Even Indian oldies like kumble/dravid/sachin won few matches on thier own. Gora oldies like gilly/hyden/symonds proved that T-20 also can be played by talent/mind & not only by youth. In india its a fashion to praise younster at cost of old guys for nothing. I hope all anti dravid & dhobi fans keep their mouth shut atleat for a year.

Dada should learn from dravid/laxman how to be a team player. Dravid/laxman much more talented than dada but no creeping for loss of captaincy. Dada want to be in limelight for nothing though he doen't deserve a place in any T20 team. Both dada & SRK are waste politician. Nice to see them at bottom. Hope calcutta fans learn professionalism from banglore/hyderabad & stop creeping about dada if they have to improve.

My Dear, there is no need for fast bowler for banflore team, they have best captain Anil Kumble with them who is better than against the any fast bowler in IPL 2009.
