CSK improving
by Ravi Chandran on May 21, 2009 01:58 PM  | Hide replies

In the 2nd round, they lost only to RCB (which they almost won) and KKR (none could have stopped McCullum that day). They are likely to win IPL2, if they kick out Balaji.

For that, they must beat DC first and overtake them.
In round 1, RCB lost to CSK by not even reaching a 100.

Cricket is a game of uncertainty. RCB stopped RR for 58 runs in the very first match. Hence, RCB can not be ruled out. But CSK is strong as per its performance.

Cure for Openers of RCB
by Bisibella on May 21, 2009 01:27 PM  | Hide replies

The sure shot success mantra for spectacular opening is foreplay. Now that we have the fab four (Juh, Shew, Prei, Nit) without any job they should be sent to RCB to assist Kat in foreplay.

I too think about that but he failed whenever he got the chance. He can Replace Roelof van der Merwe and Vinay Kumar to be replaced by KP Appanna. But Kumble lost his faith in Ryder. With only 4 Oversea players can play in the playing eleven and at the Semi Final Stage he can't try again Rayder. They totally omitted C.White

Bangalore should bat first
by Bipul Kumar on May 21, 2009 12:31 PM

Whatever bangalore does, DC needs to chase down in overs below 11 which is highly unlikely. So, bangalore must bat first.

If Bangalore loses by 75 runs they are out. This is more likely.
