their local players are giving Hyd. blues to their team. Suman : no lasting long enough, V.Rao utter waste. Gibbs totally out of form, SO the entire pressure comes only in Gilly. if gilly goes, DC goes.

DC is strongest team in this competition. Rohit, RP and Ojha are doing well. Gilly, D.Smith/Gibbs, Symonds and Vaas/Gibbs are very good. 7 out of 11 players are perfoming well while in other teams only 3-4 players are performing good. CSK - Hayden, Raina, Murali, Dhoni, A.Morkel DD - Dilshan, Nehra, A.Mishra, AB Devilliars RCB - Kallis, P.Kumar, R.Taylor, A.Kumble

Their bowling is decent, and some powerful strikers and match winners like Symonds and R Sharma who can smack any bowling with Gilly at the top who can give fiery starts. So CSK and DC should be in the finals,if they don't face each other in the semis
Can anyone tell me if MI still has a chance in semis if they win 2day agnst Daredevils??as per my calculations we(MI)hold a good run rate..if deccan wins they wil go to 3rd spot..that leaves Chalngers wit 14 points n MI also with 14 points...otherway around if Chalngers win they land 3rd spot and 14 point for Deccan.Still MI has better runrate...Please advise.or WILL MODI FIX THIS ALSO?DO I APPROACH HIM? HA HA HA
DD - Form of Dilshan, AB, D.Karthick, Nehra Should Continue. Gambhir, Nannes, Vettori Amit Mishra and Rajat Bhatia should Improve their inconsistancy and raise to the occasion needed. Virender Sehwag need to find some kind of form before Semi or else sit out and play Warner as Non playing Captain. Glenn McGrath may surprise everybody in the Semis to replace Nannes/Vettori. I think that would be the Plan of DD to shock others.
CSK - Should get the Fit Hyden and Albie before Semi. Hyden, Raina, Dhoni, Murali and Albie with Ball form shoud Continue. M.Hussey will play his first match in Semi straightaway and he needed to replicate his last year show. Jakati, Badri, Parthiv, Tyagi and Balaji to put a consistant Show.
DC - Adam, Rohith, Symonds, RP and P.Ojah should continue their form. Gibbs/Smith, Vass, Harris, V.Rao, Ravi Teja, T.Suman should show come kind of consistancy
RCB - Taylor, Kalis, Kumble, Boucher and Praveen to continue their form. Dravid, Kholi are need to be consistant. But others looks waste.

But i suggest, Ashwin should play instead of Jakati, because he is tall, bowls tight off spin, and moreover he doesnt give enough flight in the delivery, which makes batsman almost impossible to slog him out. But Jakati will add a left handed variation, where ball will go away from right handed batsman, All the remaining three teams have more number of right handed batter than southpaws. Final call lies with Dhoni, Both Jakati and Ashwin count themself with their performance, either one will play. But who, Dhoni can only decide.

I agree with you. DC and CSK must meet in final. But it is only possible if RCB wins today otherwise they will meet in semi.
As IPL-II progresses towards the finishing stage, Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni reckons that from now on individual performances would have more influence on the outcome of matches.
"From now it will be more of a lottery system. If one batsman has a good day then he can take the team through. One can say that till now one had to play as a team consistently but now onwards it will be about three hours."
"If somebody like a Hayden or a Raina has a good day, or a bowler like Muralitharan can see our team through. I think all the four teams who qualify for the semis will be all strong teams," Dhoni was quoted as saying by the IPL website.
"It is not about worrying. It is about whoever you face in the semis. It is not about being over confident having fear of the opponent because having said and done that, if we played to our potential - we can be a tough side to beat."
On Warne's remarks that Super Kings are the favourites to win the title this year, he said, "It feels good when somebody reckons you as the favourites in the tournament."
While everyone was crying, making noise ( spl abt our Bong frndz )about the Captaincy of Mr Ganguly but not given any thoughts on his role in playing 11 .now analyze his performance in IPL2 and do u still thinks he deserve to play, forget abt captaincy..anyways what was his contribution in last ipl when he was captain. ...but it's a fact that he is not ably suited for T20, neither of Dravid and Laxman and other oldies....( Aussies/Sachin are Exceptions )

Ganguly, is a complete failure, He doesnt fit even in one day cricket, but T20 is too much for him. Its shame to see him pad up to open the innings in T20. SRK should think something and better select a team based on merit, rather than past records.
