Yes very true. now in t20, you can really see, How captain and coach make difference to these players. while sehwag hit, everybody say, its not credit to dhoni. Now u all have answer, how management is important to win matches

that's becoz he was not out on many occasions, or did not bat. overall out of 14 matches, he flooped in majority of matches.

He made 304 runs in 12 innings, if you assume him out in all innings, then his average will be 25 which is good for number 4 batsman in T-20.

Hey Which World you are Living? His International T20 Average is 23.88 and a pathetic Strike Rate of 103.86. Don't count his Domestic Form. But in capataincy he score more.

P. kumar shall play. not sure abt ryder. not required as taylor, kallis, boucher doing well.
Re: Re: Kumble is making mistake........

Uthappa should wicket-keeping and J.Ryder should replace M.Boucher. It will give more balance to the RCB side. J.Ryder is explosive opener, good medium fast bowler and very good fielder.

but unfortunately is more interested in Mallya's brands than the team! hopefully he will realise and play true to his potential like ROSS THE BOSS!!

He needs continuous chances. You can see what was the performance of R.Taylor in initial matches.

When these two get together RCB's score reads 0/2 in the first over.

I don't think Hussey is available for IPL 2. if so, it will strengthen CSK batting line up

by Gui Cbe on May 21, 2009 10:55 AM
Hussey is available, havent you seen in sitting in Dug out yesterday? He is available for Semis and Finals.

Pls dont include Gony in the semis.. he's bit nervous missed so many match winning catch for Csk.

i beleive we are too much depend on Hayden.... Mockel and Oram has to develop thier Batting skills to ensure win in semis and finals..
Re: Chennai Team For semifinal
by Gui Cbe on May 21, 2009 10:54 AM
Good team buddy, but Include Badrinath,, and take out Gony/Tyagi... With 7 batsman, many of them in form csk looks very formidable
Re: Semis
by HI on May 21, 2009 10:50 AM
add CSK - needs improvement in catching DD- get combination right.warner may have role, if openrs out of form. DC- get non performer(v.rao, gibbs) out of team. RCB - uthappa is spent force, get decent replacement.
Re: Re: Semis
by Finix on May 21, 2009 11:00 AM
in fact all the team's fielding in the IPL is pathetic,so no question of pointing fingers at specific team
Re: Kings X1 can only make semi if
by Finix on May 21, 2009 10:46 AM
U r right.i think DC Vs CSK will be an ideal final, and winner will not be predicted easily.Sharma,Raina,Hayden,Symonds,Dhoni all in full form will make exciting finals
Re: 5 & 10
by HI on May 21, 2009 10:42 AM
poor approach/planning by moody. they should have approached the match normally, may be spot in semis made them nervous. this is happening to many teams, including DC, MI. now CSK have beaten KXIP 5/5 in IPL
Lalit modi should change the name from IPL to IFL Indian Fixing league a 117 run chase from 120 balls is not chased with big hitters like Yuvraj a batsmen like him scroing just 6 that too off 19 balls people are not so fool Mr,Modi your policy is to keep every Franchisee owner happy thats why 2 new teams in semis we people r fool too be too crazy about this league.

This is a circus, not cricket. It is our mistake to take it like real cricket. Just enjoy it like WWF fights, in which there is lot of noise and cries, but no injuries. Further, result is well known in advance. For real cricket, you shoudl wait and watch for T-20 World Cup.

yuvi is a jackazz. he has the attention span of a 3yr old and can't figure out spin bowling of any kind.

Mr KHAN Only when you go to the middle you will know the pressure. I think you have never played Crciket inyour life.It is easier said than done. Please do talk sense. The chances of team batting second is very less if the opponent had posted a low total. Furhter Chennai had nothing to lose from this match.

yuvi - he has the attention span of a 3yr old and can't figure out spin bowling of any kind. give him stuart broad or flat wickets he will hammer. else he cant even play genuine swing.

I believe cricket is a team game so a cricket match can't be fixed without involving all 22 players which is not possible.
Australian spin-legend Shane Warne today expressed his willingness to be attached with the Indian cricket to coach spinners of the country, if the BCCI offers the job to him.
"If there is any offer or something like that I will seriously consider. I love Indian culture. It took a long time to embrace the culture and get to appreciate India and probably taking couple of tour to understand," Warne said while asked whether he is interested to work as a coach or consultant in India.
"As far as BCCI is concerned I love working with the spin bowlers over there. I worked with Yusuf Pathan, (left-arm spinner) Ravidra Jadeja and he had a great last year and he has done well this year also," Warne added.

if you as an Indian start giving statements like this, then all the retired (or is it retarded?)Aussies will be coaching one team or the other including kerala ,goa and even Bihar! start appreciating your own countrymen first for whatever they have done jai Bharath, jai India!
