Something is seriously wrong with the IPL .. Modi is a Quisling
by Pradip Rabindranath on May 13, 2009 01:30 PM  | Hide replies

It seems only the 'I' in IPL is Indian. Everything esle is borrowed including the best players so far. In the first instance we compromised on our national pride by hosting it in SA. The rather high-handed way it got done put Modi and BCCI in very poor light. In purusit of gross and crass commercialism, we put our nation and patriotic intrests second to it. No wonder we have become a laughing stock in front of the International community. In our event we have started having incidents with racial overtones like the ones in KKR ! To stoop to a lower level we let the hustlers, who dont care about the country, bring in open gambling into the game! Then by dropping it like a hot potato; we only made bigger fools of ourselves and proved once again what kind of wolves (due respect to that animal being given) we have amongst in this country.

They apply this word to capitalism; I apply it to modern day's greatest sports in India - Crony Cricket. In Sports primordial comes National Intrests then it's Sportsman Spirit and then everything else. We have given the reins of this noble game to a man who showed he is a Quisling.

Regrettfully,

Pradip

P.S. Why dosent bid for being the Olympics Host and then hold in Canada or Australia ?? Absurd isnt' it??

What is common between SRK and KKR?
by Aftab Alam on May 13, 2009 01:28 PM

Both are gigantic losers and should face complete ban in their respective areas.

I wasn't a fan of Bravo until yesterday and may not be in future too. But let me say this much, 'Thank you Bravo', for showing that loud-mouth Sreesanth his place.
