blame ganguly
by Abhi s on May 06, 2009 11:30 AM  | Hide replies

its a fashion in rediff to blame ganguly for everything

if mucullum drops catch then blame gangu;y
if saha drops catch blame ganguly
if gayle drops catch blame ganguly
if ganguly does not bat and bowl in a match then also blame him for the loss
if dravid loses champions trophy in 2006,loses malaysia tri series and lose 4-1 in SA thena also blaem ganguly
if sachin left captaincy b4 match fixing then also blame ganguly
if Mucullum fails as an opener in 7 matches blame ganguly

the biggest mistake sourav ganguly made in his life is to accept the aptaincy in 2000
he was on top of his batting in those days
had he not bcom the captain hewould have surely crossed 10000 runs in tests and 13000 runs iN ODIS and still would have been playing 4 india without any controversy
ganguly shd have been selfish in 2000 and shd have rejectd captaincy

You are 100% right, see another player, who resigned from captaincy almost as soon as his mentor left Indian Cricket.

Impossible task...
by Zinda Dil on May 06, 2009 11:22 AM

SRK should sell off this team at whatever price he gets and: (a) either get out of cricket for good, or (b) buy some other team and don't hire Buchanan (who is a confirmed fool as Shane Warne also says). But KKR is a jinxed team no matter what. Even if you make Warne its captain and coach, it will still lose. Even Gods can't help this team, what to speak of humans.

Saurav Ganguly. Not because of as a player, because of his habit to go in media on each controversial issue.

Yes he told in media that he did't aware about multicaptaicny theory of Buchanan despite the fact that Buchanan already told in media Ganguly knew about it.

Guy's u r not simply understanding.......
Buchanan not even giving opportunities to Indians, macculum is failing still he is opener, brad hodge scoring with low strike rate still he is one down, when Indians will came to for batting in the over 20th after 4 wicket down. he is simply demoralizing Indian players & want 10 foreign players out of 11. IPL is made to find and giving opportunities to Indian domestic player and not for all players of out side India. Buccanan is simply hurting Indian cricket and our indians(SRK) are helping to him.

Buchanan -
1. Yesterday he chose Moses Henriques (yet to play consistent first class cricket for Australia) rather than some whan having 19000 International runs.
2. Multiple Captain Theory - 9 matches, 8 losses 1 win (that too due to Duckworth-Lewis) but only ONE captain.

Unlucky KKR.....
by Anurag Rathore on May 06, 2009 11:10 AM  | Hide replies

1.They lost to RR in superover.
2.They lost one match on last bowl.

MCcullam is not a good choice as captain. Gayle was better choice and after Gayle departure if Buchanan doesn't want Ganguly as captain then give captaincy to B.Hodge.

However I am not a fan of KKR.

If Gayle refused then B.Hodge.
They are missing R.Ponting who was best choice as captain however I am not a fan of Ponting captaincy.

by Abhi s on May 06, 2009 11:04 AM  | Hide replies

good respect shown by indians here to sourav ganguly
just bcoz he has failed a bit in IPL
so many abuses
even sehwag has failed
gauti amde runs yesterday only
ganaguly not allowed to bat,did no bowl

remember it was this ganguly who made indian team after match fixing
when sachin left captaincy
he has 19000 INTL runs 4 india not 4 pakistan
very good respect shown to a senior player
we indians deserve o be slaves only
cant respect our own player and lick buchanan and mucullum even if they fail 100 times

Loser teams...
by Zinda Dil on May 06, 2009 10:53 AM  | Hide replies

Any sport team associated with Kolkata is jinxed. Because the people of Kolkata are not good in sports at all. They are tiny in size and non-athletic. SRK should have bought any team other than Kolkata. If you organize an IPL in the field of Robindro Shongeet or Roshogulla, then only Kolkata can win.
