a). Kick him only once. b). Kick him at least 100 times. c). Remove all the hair from his head. d). Give him 100 belt thrashing. e). Feed him to 100s of crocodiles.
If you look at the replay closely...the bails were pushed by Boucher before the ball hit the wickets...so it would have been a stump but sangakara was well in crease....so NOT OUT...
Re: Sangakkara was not out....
by TARUN KHULLAR on May 02, 2009 09:21 AM
u are right. But he anyways would have been bowled if you would have looked at the ball. It was heading straight towards the stump and low enough. Moreover, this over bowled by Kumble was brilliant and I dont think that KXI would have scored a lot off this over.
Re: Re: Sangakkara was not out....
by Indian on May 02, 2009 09:32 AM
u r great...what i am sayin is if the bails were dislodged then no point discussing where the ball is going....it is blunder of boucher...once the bails are dislodged the only option is stump which can be ruled out...so he is not out ultimately...
Re: Re: Re: Sangakkara was not out....
by samyakgowda on May 02, 2009 09:45 AM
Technically he's not out. By rules he's not out.
But it wouldn't have made any difference, because ball was heading straight to the wicket.
I wouldn't call it a bad call. This is more like 'he got what he deserved, through a wrong call' kind of decision.
In the last but one match for RCB, they were at the receiving end when a wrong call was given against them. That was a sure win situation lost due to that wrong decision.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Sangakkara was not out....
by Indian on May 02, 2009 09:53 AM
hmm accept it. We have to see what Boucher will do...he must have the knowledge of it....but RCB needed a desperate win otherwise mallayya would have take boucher for a ride....

The strategic time out has done the trick again... else punjab XI could have won. This is a good concept since it gives the bowlers lots of time to sort out their bowling and fielding attack.

BRC is not a team at all. It is a crowd of players, all of which are sold for money.

Last time a fourth rated team(That is what everyone-ALL commentators, media, channels and every others)Rajastan Royals won IPL? Any arguments? All the commentators have their own Hidden agenda. So these fools must be kicked out immediately.
Anil Kumble proved his worth again and he is currently the best spinner in this competition even better than Shane warne who is more interested in Shilpa shetty :-)
Re: Anil Kumble proved his worth again...............
by GIREESH MM on May 02, 2009 10:59 AM
In IPL ,there is only one STAR.That is Shane warne.Others r just machines. IF Warne is interested in Shilpa Shetty, what is wrong? He never loses his focus on the ground, got it? He is transforming boys to men and not like role model No.1s who r the best cowards in the world.

bloody kick that stupid uttappa from the team, he is in the team because of his sister's request. Take taylor in place of uttappa

This comment presumes that any of the Kingfisher calendar models want to see Vijay with big tummy dancing in front of them HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
exceptional bowling from jesse ryder and anil kumble in latter stages of the innings deserves plenty of credit and so do to praveen kumar in the final over.
I have a suggestion for royal challengers, Bring Jesse Ryder to his favourite position (5 down). He may click. Keep him for a couple of matches and decide whether to drop him. He can make plenty of difference. Make him confident. Speak to him and advice. It can work plenty.
A person who is short of confidence has to be brought down the order for slogging. It may help him a lot.
Re: congrats to royal challengers bangalore
by Indian on May 02, 2009 07:07 AM
As rightly said you need to console a person when he lacks confidence...but some how I felt IPL Franchises were only counting money and only money where the pressure of profit and loss is effecting players.
Team members of RCB,KKR are scared. It is like working for General Motors which can fire/layoff any employee any time and whose existence is also a big question.

MY BALLS, TO UTTAPPA, HE IS IN INDIAN TEAM BECAUSE OF MAHI(DHONI)WHO IS VERY MUCH LIKED BY HIS SIS. NOW HE HAS COME FROM MUMBAI INDIANS TO RCB BECAUSE OF HIS SIS, REQUESTING MALLYA, DO U UNDERSTAND WHAT I MEAN ............
Yuvraj ...took hat trick while bowling...played a gem of an inning ...in short did everything he could, still the team lost.
So is this a match losing performance by him? Was he selfish..he just made some records..but it didn't contribute
This is the question to Sachin bashers
cricket is a team game, match winning or match losing performance is just a stat...whether you lose or win match cannot be decided by one person...no matter how great you do as an individual contributor, others have to chip in in order to win...
hopefully this puts some sense in those ignorant people who keep talking about match winning/losing innings...
Re: match losing performance by yuvi?
by Indian on May 02, 2009 07:13 AM
I don't agree with you....YUVI is genuine match winner. Now tht you compared YUVI and Sachin I need to tell this... we have seen Sachin failed in number of occasions chasing big totals in high profile matches and was under pressure.
Thr are always two sides of coin....when ever you take topic of Sachin the whole discussion board is divided in two groups...when so many people think that sachin doesnt perform under pressure...it has something to do with....
Re: Re: match losing performance by yuvi?
by Salil on May 02, 2009 07:37 AM
when so many people think Sachin doesn't perform under pressure then there is something to do with it..i dont agree with this...
Lets think for ourselves not based on what most think, may be most dont have enough knowledge...
failures while Chasing high profile matches? Lets narrow it down...lets tralk about ODIs and call the high profile matches as finals Do you know hom much Sachin averages while chasing in finals...want to take a guess?
he averages close to 100..i know you wont believe it
I know stats dont tell the whoe story..but those dont lie either..
We just take sachin for granted and expect more form him...his failures get highlighted more than anyone elses
waiting for your response indian..lets discuss point by point

M0r0nic buffoon ur comparing a low level T20 player like Yuvraj Singh to the God of Indian Cricket and master of world cricket Sachin Tendulkar, What is the performance of Yuvraj singh in ODi's and test matches, Frankly this m0r0n does not even deserve a place in test team and his ODi form is also p[oor abroad which was proven in Australia CB tri-series :-)
Sachin Tendulkar has won 57 MOM awards out of which India has won 52 matches and lost only 5 matches, Sachin Tendulkar has won 16 MOS awards, Sachin Tendulkar has scored 43 ODi's 100's out of which India has won 39 matches, Sachin Tendulkar has got out in 90's 18 times, Now if he had converted them also in 100's then he would have scored 61 ODI 100's and his total tally of International 100's for Indian team would have been 103 100's :-)
Think bfore u talk and learn about Cricket first u m0r0n :-)
Re: Re: Re: match losing performance by yuvi?
by Indian on May 02, 2009 08:30 AM
to Salil, Can you justify how he averages 100? You cannot deny that half of the people do not have any knowledge..that is the opinion after repeated disappointments...
To Sachin the best, I saw you critisizing sachin when they lost to Delhi...so first clear your stance.... I agree sachin is one of greatest players the game has seen but he was at his best in 90's. But after that he is not a genuine match winner. I never told that Yuvi is a test player...he is good for T20 and ODI.
He got out 18times in 90's which proves that he takes his century seriously which adds to the pressure...as I said he cannot play under pressure... Everyone knows that his run rate drastically falls in 90's...
We have to appreciate players like Sehwag who can punch a 6 to complete 300...
Sehwag, Yuvi are genuine match winners whose presence on crease for 30mins can change the result of the match.

Indian, you seem to be in a illusion. how do you want to take this discussion further? I can use statistics to show why Sachin is above everybody in the game especially ODIs or I can take many pressure matches and how he performed or I can explain you how the match becomes pressure only after he gets out. Which way you want to take this discussion ? Your Yuvi or Sehwag does not even stand near Sachin's foot., than being bigger match winners.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: match losing performance by yuvi?
by Indian on May 02, 2009 09:30 AM
I agree that he performed in 90's but my argument is he is not at his best after that..list some pressure matches he performed...and compare with total matches he actially played....
