I am not suprising with Rafa efforts. This is his age to grasp as many titles as he can. Surprising is Roger consistency in age of 27. Roger is far - far ahead from his opponents like Djokovic, Murray etc and gap is increasing.
Hats off to Federer.

performance in 2nd test against New Zealand
by kaleswarraom on Mar 30, 2009 12:25 PM

Hats off to team India for excellent recovery in 2nd innings but entire credit would go to New Zealand team because they made us to play slowly to draw the match without losing wickets.

Glory Shared With Eden
by director on Mar 30, 2009 12:24 PM

i don't remember indian team holding nerves so bravely and patiently in d last couple of days of test match once they 're following on after the famous win in Eden Garden vs. Aussies in '01.Today, i cn share that glory with this test match-although we did nt win this match bt saving it ws a daunting task for any team. It has been a true test match character for gambhir, dravid & laxman with tendulkar & yuvi showing the agreesion of a side which is gearing up for the no. 1 Spot in future. The experience of seniors with roaring enthusiasm with steadiness of youngsters like gambhir, yuvi, ishant n others are flavouring d fantastic season for Team India. I do hope the last match with Dhoni in will see India end a draught of winning a Test Searies in Kiwi land after 30 yrs. Cudos Team India!!!

Umpiring
by Pinaki Sen on Mar 30, 2009 12:21 PM

Where was Billy Doctrove, the assigned umpire from ICC from the 3rd day. Suggest that if the assigned umpire gets indisposed during the match, ICC should keep a neutral umpire on reserve for completing the match. The New Zealand umpire gave a poor decision declaring Gautam Gambhir LBW when the batsman was fully forward and the ball was missing the leg stump.

If Munaf Patel is third best seamer of the country, India should stop talking of being the no. 1 team.

It's poor selection by Srikanth. Seesanth or RP Singh deserve the place in test side.
