Gambhir ,Dravid & laxman showed gr8 temperament where as Sachin showed less in compare to them but we can not ignore his cameo as played over a hundred deliveries !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sachin's contribution was also extremely important as he scored a fair amount of runs which helped knock off the Kiwi's target.

gambhir played excellant inning. 10 century made in good situation, is not so important than one played by gambhir in such a situation great temparament
This Indian innings merit the best applauses for the contribution by each and every batsman for the teams benefit achieving personal glory. Fortune did help but efforts like this needed luck also. This match should be rated as the best test match India played as the place they are playing has a history of no wins for so long a time. Sachin's role in this match as a batting guide and encouraging senior was exemplary. Congrats Indian Team.

Yup !!!!!!! Laxman is the best !!!!!!!!! best of all !!!!!!!! But he is underrated when it comes to give credit !!!!!!!!!!!!
Did this Follow On made us escape? If they continued and gave us a total of 450 and above, we should have failed in pursuit of chasing the total. No Pressure at all to play the Second Innings
I feel that Gautam's century is going to add to the agony of Dhoni who I feel secretly wishes for his failure to remove him from the team. I feel that Gautam and Dhoni are not in best of terms. As is perhaps known to all that true to his name (GAMBHIR) Gautam is not a chamcha kind of person and doesn't fool around wagging his tail around the captain to remain in the Indian side. He prefers his performance to do the talking instead. No wonder this cold war between the two keeps Gautam's spark in him ignited and makes him perform in all forms of the game. So Dhoni I feel u will have to bear him for a long time to come.

Were you the team boy for indian dressing room my dear to say so authenticaly this rubbish? Give individual his freedom. Do not have bias in mind to evaluate performance and people.
i write in these columns that india fights back ,manyy readers told me not to day dream &ha ha ha me.see our paper tigers came back strongly & bravely drawn the match.well done india.so we dont lose the series.let me forecast again we ll win the decider and return home creating history .congratulations,Goutham,VVs,dravid, tendulkar,& yuvraj,in standing against the win for the N.Z..well done again----JAI HOOOO
The contributions of Rahul Dravid and Tendulkar in both innings also need a mention. It was a great escape indeed. Test cricket teaches you that good things come to those who wait. India waited, and maintained their 1-0 lead.

i am watching/hearing cricket comentry since 1980's. i have nver seen such a week bowling nz. land bowling side. what i also notice pitches in n.z has been slow down lot...i still think think ajit wadekar's and kapil's team in 70's and 80's were greatest ever player to play for india against world class bowler and batsman.
