7 dropped catches and this was expected!
by Desiraj on Mar 27, 2009 12:05 PM  | Hide replies

How can a team drop 7 catches in match and still expect to win. Yuvraj was pathetic to say the elast in slips. DK was competing with Yuvi in sropping the catches. Rahul and ishant also had their chances.
Munaf is the most irresponsible fielder that I have seen in international cricket who cannot bend his back to collect the ball on the boundary ropes.

Based on what Zaheer has done in the last match, it would have been wiser to send Zaheer as a night watchman than Ishant.

Lots and lots of mistakes in captaincy and that is going to cost India dear.

Desi:

Enough of preaching from the chair.....
Match is still not over. Kindly tell us what should India do for the balance 3 days?

Looking back even I can find 50 faults with Dhoni's decisions. Or Ponting's. Or Manmohan's. Or Obama's. or anyone who takes decisions.

What's the big deal?

INDIA DOWN AND OUT
by sachin on Mar 27, 2009 11:13 AM

India is down and out. In how many series have India lost the advantage of winning first test, then losing the series. Let's see what happens here. Now suddenly the ball seems to be turning. Sehewag playing an irresponsible shot, being a captian, should know the value of runs in first innings. I knew the team would be complacent and casual in this test and it showed in their body language, as if we were going to win this test automatically, and take the NZ team for granted. Hoping to see dramatic turnaround, or miracle innings to save the test.

Now that its batting track, kiwis hit 3 hundreds,Sachin will fail because when lots of batsman scores hundreds, he fails. also, he never scores back back hundreds

Mothukuri:

Oho... it's a batting track?.... Hmmmm... looking at Indian scorecard it doesn't appear to be... does it?...

And you claim that lots of batsmen scored hundreds?.... Hmmmmm....

Something fishy...

If he fails it will be bcza of the pressure of the huge NZ total. There is no devil in the pitch so far.
