Robin Singh......
by Anurag Rathore on Mar 27, 2009 04:09 PM  | Hide replies

BCCI should give the fielding department responsibility to Kirsten.
We are dropping 3-4 catches in each match. But it was hidden factor because we were on winning mode. Lets take a bold action and remove Robin Singh.
V.Prasad is doing good job. Our bowlers are consistent from last 2 years.

What nonsense Indian bowling is very poor, If I have to rate the Indian bowlers then the rating will look like this:

1.Zahher Khan.............. average..........6/10.

2.Ishanth Sharma........... average............ 6/10.

3.Munaf Patel........... poor, bak-waas, worst.......... 2/10.

4.Harbhajan SIngh........... poor in 1st innings....... good in 2nd innings......... overall........ 5/10.

Indian bowling overall......... 3/10.

In short terms Indian bowling is average to below average even in 1st test match :-)

:-)

:-)

Don't forget, bowlers provide so many opportunities but fielders wasted them.

Why Robin?
Yuvraj should be dropped. Badrinath can replace him. Yuvraj is a waste in the indian test team.

ARROGANCE OF SUCCESS
by madanmohan siddhanthi on Mar 27, 2009 03:41 PM  | Hide replies

The way the aspiring number one - team played shows How far we are misfits. No doubt people have bad days .The way catches are dropped - shows how greasy our hands are.
We consider we have well balanced attack. In reality when bowlers can contain and bowl out on flat pitches that give no assitance to bowlers one can claim a good bowling team.
Hope to see the team with grit and determination fight out in the match .This is a challenge and hope for the best .
Good luck Team India. One thing you are assured though even if you lose , your match fee will not be reduced atleast one aspect taken care.

Too MUCH CRICKET
by jamescunnin on Mar 27, 2009 03:37 PM  | Hide replies

Seriously the BCCI has to get there head checked!! They are exposing our cricket team to too much cricket!! I mean watching the first two days you can clearly see that the team and players are not into it, rather going through motions... especially when things don't go their way!

Either rotate the players especially the bowling line up or play far less games. could you imagine if they are like this imagine what they will be like when the get to 20-20 WC or worse the year end. We played far too much and got thrashed in the 50-50 WC and then we put a youngsters together sent them to the 20-20 Wc expecting nothing from them and they Won !! Clearly think this time they won't be able to due to too much cricket!!

We can not be number 2 in the world let alone number 1 if we are not consistent and more so if we go playing every session on packed schedules!!

No matter how much we plead ..BCCI is going to keep on working its Bulls till they bleed and die!!

Hmmmmm..... so is this the Indian team you wanted to grow in stature and ultimately claim the crown?

And you think they shouldn't even be allowed to play more than 2 games continuously? Hmmmmmm.....

All right.... So which team do you think should become number three in tests after Australia and South Africa?

Take a look at the SA and Aus and see how they plan their games of late they also been playing alot of cricket also !! All I am saying reduce the schedule or atleast rotate the line up !!

Match fixing started again
by A G on Mar 27, 2009 02:40 PM  | Hide replies

Consider this -
Dhoni drops out totally
Team India Drops a dozen catches
Yuvraj drops a catch ?
Sehwag wants to hits six for every ball?

Someone is getting paid a lot to loose this match.

It's obvious man.... after NZ got paid to lose the first match, some business house from their side upped the ante and paid the Indians this time around...

What's so mysterious?... plain and simple..

its possible. surprising how can dhoni drop himself out at the last moment. after enjoying 2 days mini vacation from practice sessions.
further sehwag got 2 lifes in his brief stay for 25 balls, still he cudnt utilise the opportunity.

dhoni declared unfit just 1 hr before the game. sehwag is reportedly not aware abt this till 1 hr prior to match start time.

i meant dhoni n his team enjoyed the nz holidays for 2 days skipping practice sessions. but as long as dhoni is winning, no one is there to question such things. but once v start having bad times, these things wud come out.

Dhoni's success rate
by Sreekumar Krishnapillai on Mar 27, 2009 02:21 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni has engaged a tantric astrologer to predict matches which india will win. So he will play only those matches. that's y he has near 100% success rate while other captains Kumble, Sehwag etc are flops.

Duckda and SRK kicked out many IPL-KKR players last year from the hotel to increase beggars in Kolkatta.
