RC:

Why don't you say he should have argued against opening with Sehwag (coz you NOW know in hindsight that Sehwag failed)?

It's very very very easy to pass comments my friend.... :)

BTW what should Sachin (and Sehwag and the rest of the 9 spectators on field) do for the remaining 3 days?... :)

Let's see what you argue and how?... :)

guess it is "butterflies" in the stomach thinking about facing the NZ bowlers with a 540 run deficit

Dhoni has engaged a tantric astrologer to predict matches which india will win. So he will play only those matches. that's y he has near 100% success rate while other captains Kumble, Sehwag etc are flops.

I thought he was the King.... or d'ya mean to say Dhoni alerted the rest 10 players (except Sehwag) that Yuvi was the real captain?... :)

Re: Sehwag is like

SEHWAG SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR INDIA'S PLIGHT NOW. HE WAS AWFUL IN THE FIELD AS A CAPTAIN AND PLAYED AN IRRESPONSIBLE SHOT WHICH WAS NOT NEEDED, ESPECIALLY AFTER HITTING A SIX OFF THE PREVIOUS DELIVERY. HE SHOULD BE STRIPPED OFF THE VICE-CAPTAINCY AND NEVER IN FUTURE BE ALLOWED TO CAPTAIN THE SIDE.
HIS OPENING PARTNER GAMBHIR IS ALSO EQUALLY IRRESPONSIBLE AS AFTER SURVIVING THAT RUN OUT CHANCE HE TOO PLAYED A POOR SHOT. HE IS TAKING HIS PLACE IN THE SIDE FOR GRANTED, AS HE THOUGHT THAT WAS 160 NOT OUT WHEN HE GOT OUT, WHILE HIS SCORE WAS 16 ONLY.
SHAMEFUL PERFORMANCE!!!!

remember when aussies were trying to run away with nagpur test, dhoni throttled them and got wickets. why we couldn't do the same. and why likes of yuvi didn't practise slip catching knowing sachin won't be available in slips. instead they were sky diving. nobody blames for an off day but it hurts when there is lack of effort.

Re: Re: complacent and casual

Simple.
NZ were playing their second innings. So they got all out and subsequently lost the match.
Similary India will get all out in their first innings.
That's simply what your very timely observation appears to suggest.
Wot say?
